Bisping has 5 top ten wins

Stann, CB, Thales, Anderson, and Belcher. Vs Chael,Wand, and Shad the fights were razor close.
He probably has more but I'd rather not be a goddamn stats geek about it. Why do people look for an excuse to dismiss his skills and performance yesterday? What about the moments after the knockdown GIF, when he was ground and pounding Anderson quite brutally and had him fighting for his life and barely saved by the Bell?
 
I've never been a huge fan but dude has been a legit fighter for a long time. He didn't have a bunch of big wins, but only lost to elite fighters. He's made a ton of money and has a nice job with fox when he retires so he has my respect.

This about sums it up. I think people piss on him because he's lost a couple of fights when it's meant a title shot if he won. Do that a few times and it starts to become your legacy.

Brutally ground and pounding Anderson? Looked to me that Anderson did a good job of avoiding most of the strikes Bisping threw while he was beneath him.

The butthurt is too much right now for Anderson fans and Bisping haters.
 
Bisping gets respect from the intelligent members of the board I find. He's an easy target for hate though, that's for sure. With his brash big mouth, and the Henderson KO gif a click away at any given moment. People are quick to jump on the hate train for him.
 
And he has like a gazillion of top 10 loses.
 
Brian Stann is the only person Bisping has beaten that was ranked in Sherdog's top 10 at the time of the fight.
 
I don't think anyone has any confusion about what Bisping is.

He still is what he's always been, a volume striker with good cardio and a serviceable ground game although his TDD was a little overrated after the Chael fight, did he deserve to beat Anderson? Absolutely but those who watched the fight know what we saw and that was Anderson deserved to lose as much as Bisping won.

However that shouldn't be held against him, he deserves to be in the mix and he should fight Mousasi for the right to fight for the title after the Jacare/Belfort winner or get the title shot if Weidman and Vitor both win. Bisping proved me wrong yesterday and I've gotta say that was a damn good fight.
 
Belcher and CB weren't ranked in the top 10, I don't think. Maybe they were UFC ranked.

This. I remember before that fight it was a big deal bc if Bisping won it would be his first top 10 win.
Anyway I thought he lost to thales & silva.

Lots of morons on here. Stann was the first, Belcher the second, CB the 3rd, Leites the 4th, and Anderson makes 5. Try again.

Stann's the only one that was universally ranked. Post the sources saying the others were ranked by Sherdog(the most established/credible worldwide rankings). You can't because they don't exist.
 
Like everyone already knew, only 1 top ten win for Bisbing. Really bad for how long he's been in the UFC. Anyone else would have been cut a long time ago.

Also TS, even if Bisbing did have 5 top ten wins it would be a very bad record for how long he's been fighting
 
He's been ranked in the top ten for around 8+ years, has more UFC wins at MW than anyone. Legend and deserved future HOFer.
 
No one will take you seriously when you're trying to tell people Silva was fighting for his life compared to Bisping from rounds 3 to 5.

Silva was having a relaxing day and Bisping was fighting for his life.

Good on Bisping for winning that fight, but he should not be proud of that win. He got clowned, missed over 200 punches and had his face rearranged.
