Media BISPING: Francis Ngannou BOXES AGAIN on December 23! | Is it Anthony Joshua or Deontay Wilder?

AJ is a horrible matchup for Francis... he's just as physically strong and far more technical.

Wilder would be interesting, he'd probably flatten Francis quickly, but with the right gameplan, there's a way for Francis to win that fight.

He's had one pro fight in which he didn't win so why does he get a shot at the number 4 and 3 guy? Shouldn't he have to go up the rankings and well...and half the people celebrating this complain when the same thing happens in MMA.

He just lost a split decision to the number one guy. That means he's up there on the rankings, pretty straightforward.

It's quite ironic that Ngannou is now fighting at the date Fury was supposed to fight Usyk and Fury postponed it to February because he has to rest and heal up.

Huge if it happens. Hope it Dee Wild.

He's got a better chance against Joshua

I feel like Wilder would catch him

Gotta be WIlder unless they have an easy fight for him just to keep his name alive. Frank mentioned they've been negotiating with Wilder earlier and were going to make the decision soon.

AJ has an iffy chin, if he had a great chin I would agree with you but since his chin seems average at best he's always 1 punch away from losing.

I think Joshua is the easier match up and a fight where both guys need steady offence to win since both guys are offensively sound and defensively a bit open.
The Wilder fight might end up like Lewis/Ngannou where both guys are too worried to pull the trigger.
AJ is definitely the easier fight imo. However, I heard Hearn on a podcast today saying that AJ will be ready to box around January of later. It has to be Wilder imo for his next opponent.

Fury is the undefeated lineal heavyweight champion who has already earned multiple millions of dollars. He's defending against an elite opponent. Fury or any other champion would need adequate time to properly prepare for it.

Ngannou is hungry for paydays and he isnt expected to win. Of course he is going to accept a relatively short notice fight worth tens of millions.

Don't be such a drama queen.

Drama queen?! It was just a pretty neutral observation. Fury was supposed to fight at 23rd Dec before his fight against Ngnannou and has now postponed that.

You seem quite dense and defensive. Lighten up, man.

How insane would it be if Francis actually becomes HW boxing champion at some point?
He could win a title, but his window is very short being 37 yrs old with a bad knee issue.

He is gonna have about 2 yrs before real decline sets in. I would advise him to avoid slick boxers though.

As Francis is 37 I understand he wants to cash out but lets say he fights Joshua and Joshua easily dominates him, nobody will care about him anymore, they will say the Fury fight was a fluke etc. I say take it slow, build up the hype, maybe crush some can in PFL and then get another boxing match.
As we have experiencing HW fighting is unpredictable- dude might lose to some doorman / truck driver in the PFL lol. Better strike while it’s hot.

huge if true

ngannou striking while the iron is hot. meanwhile fury has to sit out, put ice on his face, and reschedule his fight with Usyk.

for those that didn't watch the video Ngannou is basically taking the Fury vs Usyk spot on the main card.
Which makes me ask again and again, if Francis can fight and Fury can't, how the hell did Fury win?
