DIRTY CLIFFS

- says it's close, "THIS close!" but still maintains Izzy won it clearly, probably 4-1
- Adesanya's TDD is "very, very good", and Robert did not get into a dominant position (this despite recognizing Rob was able to take Izzy's back, in the same breath)
- "Why would I be biased? I really like Robert Whitaker. I'm a big fan of the guy.... trust me, trust me. It wasn't a case of me being biased towards Izzy". Says he even made a prior prediction on BT Sports that Rob would win
- "Izzy was doing enough to win the rounds. Robert was doing just enough to NOT win the rounds"
- "One of the adjustments that he could have made was to use his right hand more"
- "As a man that's been around the sport, has his life so entrenched in the UFC - this is my life, UFC mixed martial arts is my fucking expert subject, simple as that... I don't think that I have the answer to everything, but Robert I think when he watches that fight will say 'Shit, I should have thrown that right hand a little bit more!'"
- "Whereas Adesanya on the flip was using all eight limbs..." Referring to Rob, says "A little more variation is what I was calling for!"
- "...and by the way, all you haters out there that are talking shit, the judges agree with everything I said!"
- Says that he will still watch the fight again to see if he made any mistakes, and like he always does when hearing a bad review of his work, he will try to get better and learn.
- He's heard of people saying he's just being a shill for the UFC, that he's just doing what he's told, (uses Khabib meme "Numbah 1 bullshit"), but the UFC HAS NEVER TOLD HIM WHAT TO SAY IN HIS COMMENTARY, we're all out of our goddamn minds
- sometimes there might be a suggestion from producers, but there never was an instance of the UFC inserting its opinion via the commentators.

Appreciate the balls to address this by Ping, but still, sounds like damage control to me. Izzy throwing and landing leg kicks almost exclusively is "variation"? And you're denigrating those Whitaker jabs which were probably the most effective strikes in the fight? Ehhhhhh

But fuckin hell, Bisping is on Sherdog.

Read a thread on Sherdog the day of the fight. Everyone bashing Rogan and praising Bisping. The next day everyone hates Bisping. lol

Yeah, it's funny.

Before Saturday, it seemed like there was a lot of praise for Mike and criticism for Joe.

Now after Mike gets his PPV spot as a commentator, he gets the same exact type criticism as Joe, lol.

Right, lol.

Who is this phantom producer, and who does he receive his “suggestions” from?

I swear I heard him say he won't give predictions on fights he calls as its unprofessional but he apparently picked Rob to win this fight?

Love Bis but he's had a stinker this week. He was too obsessed with who was winning the fight on the weekend rather than just calling the action.

To be fair, you can think a fight is close and still have a wide spread. Not quite sure how people still don't get that. A guy who gets very very clear 100% victory in 3 rounds but drops the last 2 is still more dominant a showing than just barely eeking a 55%-45% swing of each round. If I flip a coin 5 times and it happens to be heads five times in a row, doesn't mean heads dominates tails

Still was full of shit the whole fight though Bis, pack it in.

Did Izzy really use all 8 limbs if one of his hands was thrown so rarely that the commentary team suspected he broke it early in the fight?
<seedat>
"That's just my stance, bro"

Izzy thinks he's slick

TLDL

One of the worst jobs commentating a main event ever.

Do better.

Bisping and DC are (rightfully so) highly paid by the ufc, they are shills and it’s understandable. Don’t look for objectivity and unbiased opinions in these 2.

So people would rather have listened to Rogan gush over how talented and special Adesanya is for 25 minutes straight?

No thanks. I'll take Bisping all day long when it comes to a fight play-by-play over Joe Rogan regarding certain fighters... and Israel happens to be one of those fighters.

And last but not least, I'm awarding you this very prestigious title OP :

Rogan couldn't make it. He was busy apologizing. There was a rumor he was caught passing a black woman on the highway going over the speed limit.

When Hunt Lesnar peds scandal was at it peak Hunt fought Werdun. In the fight Werdum illegally grabbed the cage 7 times without a single comment, he then legally puts his hand on the cage and they quickly point that this instance is legal.

But fuckin hell, Bisping is on Sherdog.

Izzy's leg kicks were more effective than Robert's jab. Pretty obvious if you watch the fight.

Pretty positive the strike Izzy dropped Whittaker with was the most effective strike of the fight
