I never got people pretending Mike lost this.
The knockdown? Wasn't a knockout, can't argue that it was or that it even should have been. Bell rang pretty much the second Bisping's ass hit the floor, and he was already complaining to the ref about his mouthpiece (which was completely his fault, not the ref's, but ya can't blame the guy for pushing fault around when he was woozy). Can't argue that Silva was being foolish and should have continued the attack which definitely would have stopped it with TKO, because, again, the bell rang before Silva could. Previous to that knee, Silva was losing the round, and one hailmary knockdown doesn't make it a 10-8, especially with the retarded, repeated logic of "Any round you KO the guy should be a 10-8." Go back to grade school with that bullshit.
Other than that, the fight was pretty obvious how it was going. Bisping won by being ahead on points almost all the time. Silva played around with timidity because he's a big ol douchebag or because he's just old and drained from not having enough hormones anymore after tainting his body like the cheaty fuck that he is. Shame he was all timid too, cuz any time he chose to engage, he did get the better of Mike. He almost hit Mike any time he wanted, but apparently just didn't want to hit him enough to win.
I think you can make the argument Andy was the better fighter throughout the fight. I don't think it was an issue of conditioning, cuz he didn't look all that gassed. I don't think it was an issue of pressure because there were plenty of times where Andy could work with whatever range he wanted. Call it fight IQ, or his usual playaround bullshit, but Silva gave that fight away and didn't deserve a victory. Including the victory he didn't deserve over Brunson and a failed test ruining the Diaz fight, it's been over 5 years since Silva put together a successful performance.
