Comic books and superheroes have always been gay.
HOLY HOMOSEXUAL BATMAN! View attachment 912972
Idgaf tbh as long as it doesnt become the focus of the show and turn into a backdoor banging bat buttsex bonaza
Yeah this version of Batman is very campy and comes off as gay lol. I love it personally. This show is a gem.To be honest , growing up and watching this show, you always thought there was more to their relationship than simple crime fighters. Even at 7 or 8 years old.
I'm old school I guess. I can't stand making established characters something different for the sake of diversity. I would rather new characters and I would support them if it wasn't obviously just for diversity's sake. A good character is a good character. Batman was never gay. Bond is a womanizing white Brit. Superman always loved Lois Lane and Spiderman always loved MJ. But f you want a new Green Lantern, plenty of options there.
The last Spiderman did that really well.Except there's always been an established multiverse in the comics though. So alternate character histories and stuff like that is normal.
I do agree that I think a better general solution is creating more variety instead of just rewriting history. Make new heroes with new and cool story lines. Have them interact with other older heroes.
how about gays and bi create their own character and turn him into bi or gay. this is crazy and what upsets me super man and other omics who were here for years have to be turned into abomanation. gays bi blacks diversity create your own characters and turn them into what you wantIf they ever portrayed Batman as bisexual or gay in the movies, would you be upset?
I know they just presented Robin as bisexual in the comics recently, but imagine they did this to Bats. I mean, I suppose it would make more sense with him than most characters. Raised by a man exclusively, mentored and schooled by men, taken in young boys to train as his sidekick. His tightest relationships have always been with other men. The women in his life usually only brought him grief or tried to kill him.
