Media Bill "Superfoot" Wallace reveals what happened behind the scenes of UFC 1

Very Interesting the point he brings up about Tuivasa.

So he got his tooth knocked out....That's the end of the fight? Why is that a knockout the guy is perfectly fine and contesting it. UFC 1 didn't have ref stoppages, there shouldn't be the option for an official to stop the match.

And yeah, I could see Royce seriously struggle to get some 400 pound sumo wrestler to the ground and submit him. Interesting

Yea somehow though I dont see the sumo beating Gerard Gordeau.
In fact...I dont see the sumo actually getting back up to his feet once down.

And simultaneously,

I dont see Royce taking the sumo down, I think the sumo suffocates hoyce

Sure, mate...

Royce doesnt get pinned against the cage? And trapped and exhausted?

I mean UFC #1 generic gaijin sumo did not throw one strike... but imagine if he trained ground and pound for like 3 minutes

Agreed, mate...

Tuli would basically do what...Beast couldnt... in the cage...

Jus´like Akebono, right, mate?
I don't think the sumo guy would have defeated Royce but I think Royce could have expended a lot of energy during the fight which could have effected his performance later in the tournament.

Technically, he would have met Tuli in the...finals...

I swear, at first glance...

Lost some respect to this old man.

Waste of time, dude sounds butt hurt because they didn't call him back.

Actually, everything he says fits perfectly with what Big John was saying about the early UFCs in his podcast with Rogan months ago.

The reason why Rickson was never allowed to fight in the UFCs was because he was a 'physical specimen' and it would not be any surprise he'd beat all the other bigger fighters.

His younger, smaller, and skinnier brother on the other hand... well, that's history, and Gracie BJJ blew up.

Edit - Found the clip.

So.... Big John is full of shit on the JRE podcast?
All these actors: Art Davie, BJM, Wallace, Jim Brown... etc... are all essential actors, but some of them were 'closer' to the action, realistically.

Obviously, here we have Art Davie´s version (in his book 'Is It Legal?') vs Wallace´s or BJM´s ones.

Whose version seems more legit?

See above.
