Sean O'Malley is a bad match up for Yan who is a more well rounded fighter, but his size is an issue when he actually wants to strike with a longer and faster striker like Sean, i dont see Yan holding the belt for long, he was just the perfect opponent to defeat a very one dimensional fighter in Merab.

The fighter that arguably lost to both guys is the winner?

Even if you believe he beat Yan he lost to Merab twice.

Sean isn't getting near a title for a while, the guy is on the prelims of 324 lmao.
You just randomly make shit up all the time or just this time? https://www.espn.com/mma/fightcenter/_/id/600057024/league/ufc Hes listed as the 3rd fight on the main card.... Hes probably one of the most popular fighters on the card no matter which part of the card he would fight on, and as we have just seen(higher ranking fighters getting passed over for a title shot), popularity has a very big role to play on who is at the top of the challenger list.

Im not a O'malley fan boy, im just saying if you are in that division and you just watched this, he probably matches up the best vs Yan out of anyone in the top 5.

To think that a #2 ranked fighter doesnt have a legit shot at a titile shot if he beats a top 5 opponent is wild

was thinking this during the fight, i still thought Yan won that right but yeah have to agree to a certain extent.

If sean beats yadong.... paramount is definitely going to want to push Yan vs O'malley 2.

its pretty easy to pass over Merab here. Its not a fan friendly style and there wasn't a fluke KO. He got beat everywhere. For 25 minutes.

Given the match ups they’ve announced recently it’s a high probability they try to sneak him into a title shot with a win over Song. Ugh.

Let’s go This is the fight to make! Would love to see that score settled once and for all.

Either Yan wipes the floor with Sean, or Sean dog walks Yan.

This is a fight everyone wants to see. I hope Dana doesn’t miss th opportunity

Yan 2.0 and Umar are bad match-ups for rainbow-haired, mask boy. They're well-rounded enough to take him down and go the Merab route if necessary.

The corrupt Western judges/businessmen can try their best to stop Yan but they can't stop nature.

Robbed of 3-4 decision wins, DQ'd by a dishonorable Sterling+referee tag team, beaten originally by an EPO abuser, and now he's back to his throne, where he belongs.
