Biggest what if in MMA

I was tempted to suggest Erick Silva, however he is still young and has his whole career ahead of him.
The Matt Brown fight was a slight setback to his quest for UFC gold, he still has plenty of time to turn it around!

Hottest prospect in all of MMA

He was that way as a wrestler before the fused neck. We never saw an undamaged Yoel in MMA.
if my Grandma had balls she´d be my uncle. Did we ever see a natty Yoel ? What if he was natty all his life ?`Would he won anything, isn´t he a science experiment ?

What if they fought?

Fedor vs. Overeem
Fedor vs. Barnett
Fedor vs. Shogun

Dominick Cruz not being eternally injured. I think he would have had the most title defenses in history.

from a how would history be different perspective -

What if Royce had lost his first match in the UFC?

What if forrest vs Stephan had been a lay and pray snoozefest?

From a talent unrealized perspective -

What if Brock Lesnar had trained mma from an early age?

What if Mike Tyson or Marvin Hagler had grown up during the post UFC years and fought mma?

from a fan interest standpoint -

What if MMA was run like the olympics or world cup and all star teams from each country met each other only once every 4 years?

Shit I'll hide my lightweights question in here, but which old boxer would've made the best mma fighter in your opinion?

hagler for the win for me

What if Tito was never allowed to commentate? Who would be the next in line to tell ya how ya feeling right now at 141 years old with skeltons in the croset?

What if Josh Rothenthal never grew and sold drugs? Would he be classed as greatest ref....GROAT?

What if the UFC got popular before Griffin v Bonnaroo? Would we have a greater talent pool of fighters we never heard of?

What if the UFC said F the athletic commissions and money and stuck to keeping it more like an actual fight with the old rules? Would the sport be dead now including some of the fighters?

Edit'. Stupid auto correct changed Bonnar's (RIP) name to Bonaroo, but I'm leaving it just for the luls.

James Toney.

I think it might have been interesting if they picked Rampage to fight him, i think he would have stood with Toney, at least for a bit. Couture was the worst possible match up, elite wrestler and game planner who wouldn't be silly enough not to go straight to the mat.

Mir. That accident ruined what could have been the greatest HW career of all time.
