Biggest hypetrain that dissapointed?

How easily people forget Sage Northcutt.

Sherdog literally had threads on threads about how he's the next step in human evolution, he's an A+ athlete in MMA, hyper advanced striking. It was so silly, and this coming from a Northcutt fan.

Choi. I remember people on here hyping him up to be some unbeatable God with amazing striking. Although he had fought no one yet, only cans. Then he finally faced anyone of any worth in Swanson and Stephens and he was a total punching bag for the most part. Then I noticed some of the same people on here are making Darren Till threads and saying how he can't be beaten o_Oo_Oo_O they sure changed their ''favorite fighter ever" quickly enough

Member when Brandon Thatch was supposed to be the second coming of Christ, but ended up being the second coming of Houston Alexander instead?

Cro Cop in the UFC.

Don't worry. No one with half a clue about MMA remembers Cro Cop for his UFC career. We remember and respect him for killing it in the killer org of his day which was Pride. Anyone who judges Cro Cop's career based on his time in the UFC is either 12 years old and just watched the Gonzaga KO clip on youtube or was simply high on heroin during his Pride days and simply doesn't remember how good he was.

Is losing a decision to the greatest UFC Heavyweight champ ever really a derailment?

A lot of fans were making him out to be a God who would KO anyone with the first punch he threw and since Overeem couldn't take him down no one could.
