1) Erick Silva - looked like a killer but deflated after usada.

2) Mike Perry - unbelievable charisma but couldnt win any fights against mid range competition.

3) Ngannou - was supposed to be the future of the HW division but doesnt have any wrestling or cardio.

4) Scott Coker - built up by the mma media as the second coming but ends up turning bellator into an old mans underwear.

Is losing a decision to the greatest UFC Heavyweight champ ever really a derailment?

Erick Silva is still early on in his career. Give him a chance. Christ.

we all knew what ngannou was but we wanted him to destroy stipe

Bektic was suppose to be the next big thing at 145.

He go one to lose to Elkins after ending up a -650 favorite.

Where did all those Lando fans go?

So far, Lando.

He has the skill, but his gas tank is a huge liability.

Erik Silva can still be relevant, see RDA, Matt Brown, and Robbie who as seasoned journeymen turned a corner to either win a title or work into contention....

no I’m not trolling, the likelihood is minimal but Erik still has a good enough chin and willpower to crack the top 10 if he can get his fight IQ together

How can a hype train disappoint ?

By definition they are inevitably going to crash and burn. It’s always a lovely site.

Ngannou lost once, against one of the best HW's of all time. Chill.

Uriah Hall was ridiculously overhyped... purely because of that one dramatic KO over a semi-pro daytime-TV show opponent...

The UFC milked that hype train dry... and the resulting expectations set upon the poor dude? Well he never stood a chance.
