He was never really all that great of a fighter besides his jiu jitsu. He just had heart and a ridiculous chin, which is now gone. His boxing has always been pretty bad, it's just that since he's been fighting in the UFC he has to go up against people who don't suck.

I mean, come on... 95% of his fights in Pride and earlier were against journeymen at best.
