I agree that it was wrong, but I wanted to point out that this was a commutation and not a pardon. Biden didn’t pardon him. The Penn Capitol Star article is correct on this point, the Guatdian article is not.

It was my mistake but he got a light punishment for destroying many children's lives.

Josh Shapiro deserves credit for calling Joe Biden out for doing it. Some people deserve pardons and their sentences to be commuted while others such as judge Michael Conahan do not.

Yeah, I would’ve had no issue with that dude getting a longer sentence and serving every second of it.

Apparently a number of child killers and mass murders. Apparently the 3 that were not commuted are Boston bomber, tree of life shooter, and Charleston church shooter.
