Opinion Biden Approval Ratings falls to 38% - VP Harris at Historic Low of 28%

Many did, and now it's many that regret it. I don't play party politics, never have, never will. These fuckers are supposed to work for the people and put America first second and third.... but....

I certainly don't regret it, I see no reason to think Trump would've been any better on the issues that Biden has struggled on like the withdrawal from Afghanistan and I doubt he would've delivered the positives like the expanded child tax credit.

.... and dodge.

I asked for a list of like 10 things that have been POSITIVE since Joe took over. Personally, I think the vast majority of politicians are all garbage in garbage out, bought and paid for since the first bank of the US, 2nd, and of course today the federal reserve -- and that we have OWNERS.... but that's a whole other topic.

Would you like one of the thousands of "fuck joe biden" videos, or do you want to just go completely oblivious to the pulse of what Americans honestly think? I don't know how much international news you watch, but he is openly made fun of and presented as this stumbly bumbly old fart that can't think critically. The rest of the world sees this dog and pony show for what it is, they are laughing. What's NOT funny is that this is blatant WEAKNESS and likely China or Russia or Israel/Iran will fire the first shots that lead to some dark fucking places because the US is seen as a joke... a joke that cares more about using fucking proper pronouns than keeping a communist country with human rights violations in check.

The most popular president in history can't post a single whitehouse video without it being embarrassingly down-voted into OBLIVION, having it's comments disabled, and mocked everywhere off the platform to boot. I'm sure it's just "trolls" lol.

He literally has thousands of people lined up with fuck biden flags along his presidential route with flags and signs showing their frustration at how things are going..... then gives a speech to like 20 people who give a little "wooo" (amongst them, his own entourage) -- it's fucking pathetic.

He doesn't think for himself. That much is obvious. Countless times.... COUNTLESS TIMES -- he's been documented as saying "they don't want me to talk about that".

So what is going well? WHAT IS GOING WELL? WHY DO PEOPLE BACK THIS ADMINISTRATION?

You can sit there all fucking day and spin MY thoughts, I'll keep debating and give my opinion of the situation. So for the love of god, just tell me WHAT IS GOING WELL! That's it, that's all I'm asking....

The economy is expected to grow by 6 percent this year and then by more than 3 percent next year. Unemployment is project to be about 3.5 percent by next summer. He has passed the Jobs Act of March of 2021 and the Innovation and Competition Act and pulled wholly out of Afghanistan. An infrastructure bill is likely imminent. Sorry but a bunch of Trump fans (who would hate any generic Democratic POTUS) with a bunch of F Biden flags and signs has very little resonance with me.

They ARE rigged. 38% approval rate is far too high!

Not even close. Biden pulling out of Afghanistan is far better than anything Trump did. Pulling out of Afghanistan and him likely getting an infrastructure deal passed > cutting the corporate tax rate from 35 percent to 21 percent.

This poll should terrify Democrats ahead of 2022 - CNN

A lefty poster proudly posted that Swing States are firmly in Democrat Hands..... The Truth?? Hold on to your butts in 2022 Democrats

Just 31% of Iowans approved of how Joe Biden is handling his duties as president while a whopping 62% disapprove. Biden's disapproval number is below the lowest ever measured by ace pollster J. Ann Selzer for former presidents Donald Trump (35%) and Barack Obama (36%).
"This is a bad poll for Joe Biden, and it's playing out in everything that he touches right now," Selzer told the Des Moines Register.
Biden's approval on pulling American troops out of Afghanistan stands at a meager 22%. Approval for his handling of the Covid-19 pandemic is now just 36% among Iowans.

This poll is rightly understood as a blaring red alarm for not just Biden but especially down-ballot Democrats -- in Iowa and elsewhere -- who will be running in the 2022 midterms.

When you take away the Ride or Die Blue States of California and New York... That 38% Approval erodes even further.

If Biden's numbers are anywhere close to this bad in other swing states -- and districts --- Democrats' hopes of holding onto their very narrow three-seat House majority are somewhere close to nonexistent.
While first term, midterm elections are, historically, very difficult for the president's party in the House, that trend is made far, far worse if the president's approval rating is below 50%. As Gallup wrote in 2018:
"In Gallup's polling history, presidents with job approval ratings below 50% have seen their party lose 37 House seats, on average, in midterm elections. That compares with an average loss of 14 seats when presidents had approval ratings above 50%."

Please Biden... Keep Squeezing and issuing Overbearing/Unpopular Mandates, then watch the States fall from your fingers. Don't stop what you're doing, You're doing great!!

could be a problem, but there is a large amount of time between now and 2022. Though it will be hard to claim out of this pit it is still possible to do.

I disagree with this. I think his approval ratings have dropped because people are absolutely sick of COVID, do not like how the withdrawal was handled and are disappointed/upset that an infrastructure deal still has not been passed. Likely, over time, these things should smooth out.

To be fair Trump negotiated the withdrawal from Afghanistan, not sure it would've happened without him.
Off the top of my head, the 2021 Jobs Act that was passed in March (that including expanded child tax credit, etc.) and the Innovation and Competition act have been his biggest two so far. Getting out of Afghanistan (even if the way it went was not great) is number one for me though.
I put the expanded child tax credit at #1 personally. Its more or less a basic income for low income parents which is a bigly consequential for tackling poverty. Its only for one year but the fact that it happened means that its not some hypothetical policy anymore and extending it or making it permanent becomes a much more likely reality.

For as long as people recognize Republicans offer nothing of substance policy wise and focus predominantly on empty culture war distractions that last a couple of a weeks at most.. Democrats are safe

so theres still 38% that think hes doing a good job?

must be all those ppl who voted for him by mail in michigan, arizona, wisconsin, georgia...

As someone who is actually from Wisconsin, what was so suspicious about the mail-in vote tallies here? I would absolutely love to know from you, who's likely never been to Wisconsin and has absolutely no idea regarding anything about it.

Yes biden isn't a good president, even by democratic terms.

Its not surprising, he's basically senile. No rational person thinks a senile (or nearly senile) person should be leading the country

Yes, he still easily would have been.

Not a chance.

Anyways, Biden is at 38% without "muh' Russia", "muh' Stormy Daniels", "muh' White Supremacy", "muh' Tax Returns", "muh' Ukraine", "muh Nepotism", "muh' Mean Tweets"..."muh EVERY SINGLE MEDIA OUTLET OTHER THAN FOX NEWS ATTACKING BIDEN EVERY SINGLE SECOND OF EVERY SINGLE DAY"...

You know why he's at 38%? Because he's a senile old fool who sucks at everything, and people are waking up to that fact. Enjoy the midterms, bud.

Funny that such a senile guy did so well in his two debates against Trump (and then beat him by 7 million votes in the election) and then actually was going to show up to the third debate until a health predicament prevented Trump from being there........

Funny how all that works.

Not a chance.

Thanks a lot Canadian for all your prescient talk about US politics. Tell me again how the Supreme Court has already ruled that the court can have no more than 9 Justices.......

You are a complete joke and a dilettante when it comes to US politics.

And conservatives control more of the media than liberals do anyways (Facebook, talk radio, etc.).

Wait, are you going to vote in the mid terms? Or are you just going to bask in the glory of the GOP? Just curious, bud ?
