Opinion Biden’s Unpopularity Is More Mysterious Than It Looks

That’s bidenomics , wonder who came up with that lame slogan probably the same guy that came up with “I’m with her “

Do you think this is honest? First, note that "real wages" *take price changes into account*. Second, unemployment has fallen a lot in that time, which means a lot of people have gone from zero to something, which also affects the composition and lowers median wages. Think about it like this: You have five people, and two are unemployed. One makes 120 clams, one makes 100, and the other makes 80. Both median and average wages are 100. Then the two who are unemployed get jobs paying 80, and the other three get 10% raises. Now the median wage is 88. Down 12%! But everyone is better off.

Trump got to take credit for Obamas continued economic growth coming out of the housing market crisis. Then Trump caused this current inflation with his 2020 covid economic policies.
Ah yes, when Obama bailed out all of the banks that caused the crisis and threw families out on the street. Bravo!

I think Biden and the Democrats will be hard pressed to get 81 million votes after the luster of “We aren’t Trump”. RFK Jr. has some pretty interesting thoughts on the office of the president. He’s hands down the most clear and concise person I have seen be foolish enough to seek the presidency. I would hope that a historical liberal and not the shit for brained anti American liberal that exists today would have the same ability to gain their parties nomination for the betterment of the country.
RFK Jr is in recovery and goes to 9 meetings a week.

Besides falling down while going up stairs, walking across a stage, or riding a bike Joe Biden has been confused as to what country he's in, what state he's in, what year it is, and who the President of the United States is. Add him being a creepy perv around children and it's not hard to see why he's not popular.

Trump Haters - "Trump sexually assaulted women!!!!!"

Joe Biden - "Hold my beer. I'm gonna squeeze on this young girl's nipple!"

If you ask people about their personal situation, you get results that line up with the data. If you ask them what they think about the country's situation, you get results that line up with the media they consume.

Biden and his team are also horrible at communicating their successes. This is probably the worst administration in modern history for communicating their message.

Donald Trump call a losing election a victory and the impeachable offense a "perfect phone call", but he said it consistently, simply, and with conviction... And his base believed so wholeheartedly they were willing to go to prison. He wasn't much of a president in my opinion, but that's how politician communicates their message.

We too had bailed out some batch with dumb banks.

While we didn't had Obama.

Obama wasn't ideal but he at least had signed more mining, drilling and fracking permits than Trump and Biden together....

+ Trump had introduced tax relief for big corps and rich ppl, outcome was that cos this state treasury debt hiked up +>2000 b additionally and still populist is better and idiots are praising this populist cos they really are stupid electorate.
Donald isn't Reagan.
Ofc for U.S now had been better if POTUS today was Reagan.
Sadly we don't have Reagan in this world, just 2 very rich and old specimens .....

I think his surprising effectiveness as a president is linked with the lack of credit-taking. If he says something is good and important, that makes it a Republican priority to stop it. If even big things move quietly, no one cares, and it passes. I know you're talking about results more than policy inputs, but I think it's similar in that staying away from the backlash is probably a good trade. It's probably hurting his polling numbers at this point, but it might end up helping by the end.

I hope some of these folks have government provided cell phones so they can come on Sherdog and find out how great they are actually doing.

There's clearly an illiteracy problem in America. If these people could read, they would know that they're living in historically awesome times.

Thats fair if they crank up the messaging machine close enough to the election to start being seen as sucessful. If they are so unwilling to leverage their success that they allow GOP to have the next 4 years then it wasn't really worth it.

The fuck are y'all talking about. "Bidenomics"? Yeah, ok... And over 70% of population isn't falling for that crap (Democrats included). Except for you brain washed clones.

lol... Dude has taken credit for every slightest bit of good news even when he had zero to do with it. Starting from the first fucking day he took office.

Biden’s Misleading Vaccine Boasts
https://www.factcheck.org/2021/02/bidens-misleading-vaccine-boasts/
“Just over four weeks ago, America had no real plan to vaccinate most of the country,” Biden said, going on to say his predecessor “failed to order enough vaccines, failed to mobilize the effort to administer the shots, failed to set up vaccine centers. That changed the moment we took office.”

We’ll start with the claim that the Trump administration hadn’t ordered “enough vaccines.” As we’ve written before, the federal government, as of Dec. 31, had contracted to buy at least 800 million COVID-19 vaccine doses with delivery by July 31. Those doses included vaccines from four companies who have not yet received FDA authorization.

And a Government Accountability Office report, released on Jan. 28, said in a footnote that updated information from the vaccine companies and the Department of Defense “indicate there are at least one billion vaccine doses under contract as of January 2021. Moreover, the government may acquire additional doses through the exercise of options or execution of new agreements.”

So, the Trump administration had clearly ordered “enough” vaccine doses for the U.S. population.

Dude is a fucking liar and has been lying for 50 years... especially about his own accomplishments. But ignores the biggest legilastion he pushed through in his Crime Bill

Biden exaggerated when he claimed that vaccinations have “nearly doubled” on his watch.

Biden, Feb. 19: We’re now at a point where we’ve seen the average daily number of people vaccinated nearly double, from the week before I took office, to about 1.7 million average per day getting a shot.

Actually, on the day Biden spoke, the average daily number of people vaccinated had increased by 31% — not “nearly double.”

On the day Biden took office, the seven-day “moving average” for the previous week was about 971,500 shots a day, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s COVID Data Tracker. By Feb. 19, when Biden visited Pfizer, the daily average was at 1,270,728 vaccinations.

Shall I pick another topic? Because Biden constantly lies about everything.

In what way is this different from the priorities of the Democrats when Drumpf and Dubya were in charge.

The rampant hypocrisy by Democrats is just one of the many disgusting traits that they have a hard time keeping under wraps

lol none of the evidence supports this bullshit claim. None. Circumstances may have gotten worse for people who were already poorly off to begin with--that's open to debate, but there is abundant evidence the "the average American" is doing well. Wages relative to inflation have improved a fair bit, among other things. Inflation remains above desired levels because people are spending money like mad.
That is not a good thing when the average person is in severe debt. I have never seen debt so bad in all my years of reviewing credit for Dealerships. NEVER. Inflation is one of those things where what is inflated is more important than overall numbers. Basic necessities like food, clothing, rent, medicines, and fuel are leading the charge and that is why people are unhappy. They also see the amount of spending the administration does and see no personal benefit. The workforce is fucked because of the Biden handouts and extensions and increases in unemployment benefits. So many people never went back to work in the service industries, businesses are actually closing or working modified hours. That is insane when you have a homeless population like we do. Then you add in the border issue that Biden has truly fucked the pooch on.....thousands of migrants, unvetted and snuck in to towns late at night. Then given permanent housing in Hotels, college dorms, and converted military bases.....all while homeless citizens are left to rot. People are getting by but are not happy.

Note that inflation reduces debt loads.

And here's debt payments as a percentage of disposable income:

Near the lowest in history. I just don't get why people tell such easily checkable lies. You know, telling the truth about the economy doesn't require you to stop being a Republican or whatever. You can maintain your identity AND be honest. Try it.

What are you talking about? I don't recall ever claiming Biden was honest.

I said the administration is terrible at messaging. Your claim that 70% of Americans don't accept his claims completely agrees with that point.

But politicians with good messaging can lie and their base will generally believe it. E.G. Obama convincing Americans he was an environmentalist while also taking credit for increasing domestic oil production, Trump convincing his base he won the election, W talked us into invading Iraq because of non-existant WMDs.

I'm afraid I attribute that to the clown shoes posse who thought interest rates would never go up.
