Nice squatting man. Do you always use your ring finger on the ring for benching? That seems like that'd be kind of close for you.

Nope. A wide grip worst best for me, but i try to rotate my grip to ease up on the old shoulders. I press approx 3 times, this is how it shakes out.

85% and above work - index fingers on rings
80% work - middle fingers on rings (sometimes go wide at 80%)
75% work and below - ring fingers on rings

It was supposed to conditioning night, but there was a kickboxing cardio class occupying the room with the stationary bikes. Grrr. My lifting partner from this past summmer who did 4 months of Sheiko with me made an appearance at the gym tonight. I hadn't seen him in 3 months. He told me his older brother shot himself 2 weeks ago. Not in the Plaxico Burriss way. We sat around and pow-wowed for a quite while. I got him to lift with me and ditch his basketball game, he banged out 70 chins in the time I got 40. I out snatch'em.

On a lighter note, he may be selling me a power rack. He's had it in storage for years, I'll scope it out this week.

My gawd. I'm as weak as a newborn baby bird. Took a 4 hour nap and ate a huge Filibertos burrito.

The drive between Portland and Salem took about 2 hours... it was absolutely horrible! I grew up in Buffalo, so I've had a fair share of nitemare drives. This one ranks up there.

On a good note, I gots me a squat rack, bar, and a couple of bumper plates for the garage. I might get that put together tomorrow.

I picked my sister up from the airport on Tuesday night. I had to take backroads for the last ~6 miles because I-205 South was a parking lot.

New gyn... meh. LA Fitness with cybex machines as far as the eye can see, at least it has a steam room.

I now have an old ass power rack in the garage, i just need to pick up some more weight and some stall mats. Lucky for me I found deals on both on craigslist yesterday.
