Still pain in my right shoulder when wide grip benching. Beltless squats were a breeze, and I'd just come from wine tasting at 3 vineyards...phew. I had a 2 hr window open so I ran to the gyn to squeeze in a workout.

Nice to see you taking advantage of the two week summer. I own a kayak and you have been out more than me this summer. Did you see any Orcas?

...beltless work at 80% is doing wonders for me.

Is this a Sheiko concept or common sense or....?
I have started lifting with a belt but feeling like I should not use it for anything up to 80%ish.
Then I read what you wrote there and thought maybe there are some valid reasons (and actual data) to back up the intuition...

Hey Tall Jerk:

This is an unfriendly remember that the squat contest will be ending in a couple of weeks.

Hey Bubbles,

I'd just got into the habit of belting up around 80% when squatting, that fostered some bad habits and a weak anterior chain. I'll still toss it on at 85 or 90%, but more work without a belt helped me sit deeper, more upright, and force my kness out. I'd always good morning the bar when it got heavy. I'm a little better now...it's still a work in progress.

Sheiko just happens to do a lot of work around 70-80%.
