Betting Questions

they should pay out, I had some money on the same outcome on a different site, they only settled it a week or so ago. they may just be verifying the result from there sources, unfortunately books can take a month of sundays to update stuff like this. keep onto them about it, maybe ask on sportsbookreview for more info as I'm unfamiliar with bookmaker, they may be able to help you more.

don't worry about them closing your account over this, you have done nothing to prompt them to do this. it helps a lot to be polite in the emails/chat transcripts, despite how useless books can be and how unethical they are, I have gotten a lot of problems solved just from being patient and nice (maybe acting a little dumb too hah), I think some books have incentives for the live chat agents to get positive feedback for some sort of bonus, or at least it seems like that at times.

They did end up fixing it yesterday. My biggest issue was that they had settled it as a loss the night of so I felt like if I didn't stay on them it would just remain that way. Do they just end up losing both sides of the bet in situations like this or do they go and take back money they paid out to Trump not 44%-46%?

Either way, I cashed out and will be just using 5dimes going forward. Just an infuriating experience for what was ultimately a small amount of money.

pretty sure they just messed up the rules in regards to settling that market. I guess they just went by trump's % on election night rather than the entire election where millions of votes came in weeks after election day.
not sure what they do with bet's that were originally graded as a win but weren't, it's a fair amount of time after the election so ppl would of withdrawn winnings making it impossible to take false winning's back from lots of ppl, maybe they just refunded ppl who took querry with the grading, idk about that though.

As far as I know you are all playing with Euro bookies. What kind of limits can you get on UFC events?

It's a bit of a mixed bag but some limit very quick. I think i placed two or three bets with Betway each bet between £500 - £1000 for example and won maybe £2k and they didnt just limit me they banned me from MMA betting! Others are better but if you want to bet four figures you will get limited real quick. I place 80% of the money im placing on my big bet in bookies shops now (there's 9000 in the UK they are on every high street). The other 20% online but i spread it across 10-15 bookies so im not placing a pre bet online for more than £100. So yeah if you want to win substantial money year after year online it's very hard to do.

I wonder about Pinnacle. I know it's not available to US/UK bettors but they advertise as having the highest limits of any book.

I mostly use Bet365, and they haven't limited me yet. I just make sure to throw in some hail mary parlays, and that has worked well up till now :) The same thing with Unibet. As Sham mentioned, if you just spread out the action and don't put large amounts on juiced favorites it's no problem IMO. Smaller bookies will limit you fairly quickly though, but it's all the small fishes in the ocean that can't withstand big losses over a large period of time IMO.

Come on bro, every book has limits. I'm not asking if they have limited your account specifically. I am asking what your limits are on 365 and other books. For example 5Dimes UFC 207 standard money line limits were $500. Thanks.

Agree to what Sham said above. I'm not that big of a bettor, unitsize between 20-25€ atm, but got limited quite quickly on a number of bookies. Betvictor banned me after a month or 2 completely from sportsbetting after I snatched some good prop-prices (I think I didn't even profit on that book). Coral banned me from MMA betting after maybe a handful of profitable bets. Betway recently limited me to win €72 per straight-up bet (smaller for props) after I placed a bet on a fighter that dropped in price already on most books but not on theirs, after which they cancelled my bet and told me the prices were reversed. William Hill recently limited me to win about €290 per straight bet (way smaller for props). Marathonbet's limits vary quite heavily, when I win some they limit me to about €5 per bet max, when I lose some I can bet to win about €20 or something. So yeah, conclusion that it's pretty hard to not get limited on these books if u win some, it'll probably happen a lot quicker with the stakes you/sham are playing, hehe.

Edit SBOBET limit: to win €50. Can't view many more limits now because the smaller books don't have lines out yet for next UFC.

This is the kind of thing I was looking for. What a horrible limit. I am most curious about Pinnacle and 365 and other bigger Euro limits.

From what i've heard they are a true no limit bookie. Apparently they are planning to reenter UK market!

365 limited me.

Maximum limits – where can I see them?

Limits are clearly displayed at all times on the members side of Pinnacle Sports, and are exactly the same for all players. How many other bookmakers are that transparent? Log in now to see the limits and if you are not a member open an account now to see them.

365 will let you bet four figures but it won't last if you're a winner.

Alright, my limit on Rivera ML @ -250 on Bet365 is 1759,45$
My limit on BJ Penn @ +350 is 200$

Is this specific enough? :) Otherwise ask.

$200 on the main event? That's fucking low. I'm assuming the limits go up closer to fight time?

Yair ML @ -455 is 3167,01$

You can go bigger, if you send them an email. Perhaps Sham can answer the last question, because im not sure about that one. Im almost certain that limits will go up closer to fight time.
