Cormier has a dad bod. Coleman was a possible steroid abuser. Hard to make a fair comparison.

Josh Barnett was so washed by the time he fought Cormier. He had been fighting professionally for 15 years.
 
In his prime, I don't think anyone dominated coleman on the ground whereas DC got owned in round 4 by jones
 
This has nothing to do with the question but does anyone know if Mark Coleman was Italian American or what? He's from Ohio which has a relatively large Italian American population. The guy just always seemed so Italian American to me I've always wondered.

No one pay attention to the troll. No one in the wrestling community would have compared DC and Yoel together. Yoel was touted as being the best wrestler in the world overall because of his world championship in one of the most stacked weight classes at the time. Did DC even win worlds once?

Yoel literally gives no fucks about being taken down, when you're as explosive and have as high caliber of wrestling as he does. That's why he 's such a dangerous striker, everyone else is getting worried about being taken and held down, he can let his hands go knowing that if he gets taken down...no one can hold him for more than a second at best

This is very true. Like when he impaled his knee into Weidman's skull. I mean, what was the worst case scenario if he missed? He was going to pop right back up anyway. I wish I could find the gif of the second round grappling exchange in which he made Weidman look like an amateur.
