She started the fight very well. While she was staying outside of Ronda's reach, Ronda looked really stupid by throwing haymakers and overhands in the air. It's only when Ronda bullied Bethe against the cage she was able to connect.

Of course, Bethe's otherwise too weak to hurt Ronda, but she started the fight much better than some other fighters who literally rushed into Ronda.

She did start alright, she managed to make it to the octagon. Everything after that, not so well.

This, if you dont last a minute. Its safe to say your strategy had no tactics.

Yeah it's really hard to defend a "strategy" that led to your full on destruction in under 60 seconds lol

So what you're saying is...by taking three steps backwards towards the cage before getting destroyed, her gameplan was solid? Which is obviously infinitely better than those who took the three steps forward who got destroyed in seconds, apparently. She delayed the inevitable by seconds, BY SECONDS!

I might be one of the only one's TS but I agree for the short time it lasted Bethe started off well. Unfortunately while successfully stifling Ronda's attempts to ragdoll her with body locks and head and arm clinch throws and angling well off of her strikes, it seemed Bethe completely dismissed Ronda's willingness to get her in that single collar tie and pound the shit out of her. Same thing kind of happened to Sara McMann.

She won 28 of those 34 seconds. If a spotlight had fallen on Ronda before the KO, Bethe would have won the decision.

BTW, anyone noticed Ronda likes left knee to the liver, she did the same thing to McMann

The best thing she did was make Ronda angry enough to form a pretty bad gameplan that fed into her strengths.

The problem is that Bethe isn't even that good at what she does best.

Atleast she didnt go for a flying knee like Cat

Ronda kept it standing bro.. whenever they clinched, isntead of going for the throw, she grabbed Betch's head and punched her.

She seemed to have a plan, but that's what happens when you're physically inferior and don't actually have the technical advantage in any area. No amount of game planning is gonna help you when you're just flat out worse than another fighter.

Yep. You could tell Ronda wanted to knock her lights.

This reminds me of the conversations about how Arlovski was winning against Fedor before getting KTFO, except even funnier.

Bethe didnt even belong in the cage with Ronda...
