Beterbievs power is to ********** much for Canelo

Stop being intentionally dense. Everyone could fight outside their weight classes if they wanted to. Your boy Benevidez could easily be getting LHW fights against belt holders.

Theres a reason they dont though……

huh? I never just said 'a fight in a weight class'. I said immediate title shot in a new division, which is not a thing for most other fighters, so stop pretending they all have the same options.

Accused? Canelo could very well stay at 168 for the rest of his career and nobody will ever talk about him versus Artur. He has already achieved great enough things as a boxer he can retire as an atg tomorrow. However he has done three things to lure a potential clash with Beterbiev. He has once moved up to fight a lhw champ. Him and Reynoso have talked in numerous interviews about Beterbiev. And he has recently alluded about challenging a cruiserweight titleholder at 190 pounds. To the fans that is translated as sailing in the waters of the unified lineal champ at 175, because nobody expects Canelo to unify CW and most don't expect him to stay at 168 for long either. So it's a legitimate possible future match up to discuss. And nobody can be faulted for making Artur the favorite in that match up either, for very obvious reasons.

Eh yes accused, he’s apparently ducking Benavidez by fighting a CW, people can make Beterbiev favourite, outside of power he’s second best everywhere, Bivol is the harder fight imo.

Point is his next few fights could be Makubu, Beterbiev, Bivol and Briedis and there would be someone he’s still ducking, obviously should have invented a time machine to go back and fight a prime Hagler.

Well, maybe if theyd actually fight other contenders and belt holders like Canelo has theyd have some bargaining power…..

Tell me Benavidez wouldnt easily go straight to a title shot against a belt holder at 175? Its so easy to cherry pick belts, why hasnt he done it?

I am not one of those at least. I think Benavidez has done fuck all to deserve a fight with Canelo. I actually like the Makabu/Mchunu fight more and I believe it does more for Canelo's legacy than Benavidez who's relevance in his own weight class is zero at this point. People are starting to talk about Bivol and Beterbiev because Canelo is a big name, has cleaned out house at 168, likes bulking up and moving up as his very next fight will likely be for a CW title and has won a world title before at 175. So, I am one of those who gives Canelo full credit for the amazing things he has done and want to still see him take on challenges. Because even losses from the likes Beterbiev or Bivol wouldn't taint his already cemented legacy.

because he has finished business as 168. He is still too young to be needing to jump around weight classes.

He has unfinished business but isnt fighter any of the other belt holders or contenders, and is missing weights?

Lmao
