I've thrown plenty of punches in my life but I don't see what that has to do with him being absolutely outclassed? He looked like he didn't belong in there with Beterbiev at all. It's not disrespectful, just facts. I'm sure he's a good fighter when he's fighting his own level of fighter.

Watch the Beterbiev-Gvozdyk fight, Bivol won’t be able to stay on his bike for 12 rounds, it’s a doomed strategy. Beterbiev has very underrated feet and movement and even Canelo was able to corner Bivol at times, and Canelo moves like he’s stuck in concrete. Beterbiev just has a deadly mix of insane power, high boxing IQ, and never ending gas tank. He stops Bivol late, see it playing it similar to the Gvozdyk fight where Bivol kinda just crumbles and takes a knee.
He didn’t just fight and beat Usyk, he put him down in the Olympics with a nasty body shot. Usyk won on points but was on his bike the entire time, Beterbiev has the touch of death. He also knocked out Gvozdyk in the amateurs and beat Kovalev twice. He was basically big brothering everyone in the Russian amateur boxing scene. His record was like 295 wins 5 losses lol.
That's how I see it. Unless Bivol can fight a perfect fight against Beterbiev but that's unlikely. Beterbiev will find him and when he does he'll hurt him. It'll be all downhill from there. I think too many people are overrating Bivol's Canelo win at this point. The guy is a natural middleweight.
Yes, and Bivol is a natural super MW. He'll be a lot smaller, Joe Smith Jr and Beterbiev are both true LHWs. The only clean hit Smith Jr. managed to land on Bivol hurt him, Beterbiev will land a hell of a lot more than that.
Beterbiev vs Bivol will be a classic case of the former being too big and too strong. As you said Bivol really is more of a SMW than a LHW. He also doesn't have the firepower to keep Beterbiev off of him. He'll be outsized and outgunned. The odds that he can masterfully box & move for 12 rounds to avoid getting beaten up are slim to none. As good a boxer as Bivol is he's still going to get hit and against Beterbiev that means he'll be hurt. I see it the same way as you do and I've been saying it for a while now. Beterbiev stops him late. I like Bivol a lot. I'll be glad if he proves me wrong but I don't see it.
