Best VPN?

Wertz Virtual Office. Its pretty good. No lag. Sometimes it freezes though on slow connections.

I've been using NordVPN for a while and it's been good. You can get it for less than $3 per month.

This. I've used a bunch of free ones, pretty much a waste, imo. Of the paid ones, I found Nord to be the best. Tor is good shit. Yes, VPN's won't protect you from high level government "agencies", but I don't use one for that.

What's with all this NSA shit? How do they know you're using a VPN in the first place? I haven't done my homework in a while.

Look up William Binney on Youtube. He used to work at NSA (quit just after 911), he designed all the main internet spy infrastructure. He's actually an amazing guy, and his insight into what these agencies are capable of is top notch.

I just want to see US Netflix in Canada...

I use ExpressVPN and it's good but it's kinda pricey I guess. Doesn't keep logs

Mullvad is great. Also has an interface for Linux which is nice.

Looking into Winscribe. They have free 10GB download and premium service for over that.

I use Private Internet Access. Cheap and doesn't keep logs.

I read a similar article a while back about how pretty much every criminal site on the deep web is being monitored, but similar groups/sites on the "clear web" go undetected. There are red flags that immediately catch LE attention.

Most of the deep web is unknown and the police/feds sure as shit can't monitor "every criminal site." They can't even find them. The deep web is not catalogued. The only reason people know about the sites they know about is because a small percentage have been catalogued by people 1 at a time. That is why the deep web is so attractive to criminals, and I mean serious criminals, is because they can operate in virtual safety. Here is the truth of it. You and I could set up something illegal and as long as I didn't give out its location, and you didn't give out its location, good luck ever finding it cops.

High level govt. agencies wouldn't spend the resources on a regular person or even a low level criminal so in that regard, yes VPN's hide a lot from them. What people have to really realize is they have no reason to look for most stuff anymore. They set up a Big Brother surveillance state after 9/11 and all your communications are monitored and recorded, all of them. Every phone call, every e-mail, every text, with power like that they don't need to try to break into your shit unless you are a very serious criminal.

I use secureVPN, I don't know if it's the best but it does the job.

They keep logs too.

I didn't care about any of this crap until my isp rerouted my internet to a site telling me that I watched a movie from a torrent site and that if I do it again I might lose access to their service. Click here if you agree to these terms.
After I clicked yes my internet worked again. What I learned is don't download movies that you didn't pay for.
