Grade 9 gym class is mandatory and has wrestling on the curriculum. I have taken 12 karate lessons and gym class wrestling was about the same amount of knowledge. Combine that with all the UFC I have watched and I probably get the TD on Alex! LOLOh c'mon, not everybody who went to high school went out for wrestling! Not even in effin Iowa.

I am in Canada. Grade 9 gym is mandatory and they cover a bunch of basic stuff. Wrestling, badminton, soccer, football whole bunch of stuff. Just my way of saying a few lessons on wrestling and you can beat Alex Poatan. Hyperbole for sure but he seriously lacks the ability to stop a TD when Jan and Izzy can take him down almost at will. If that fight was not at altitude Jan wins all day long IMO.By "has on the curriculum" you mean everybody did it in gym class or it was offered as an option? I don't know where you hail from, but in my neck of the woods high school was when they started offering a variety of things one could take for PE. Trust me, it was one of the best days of my life when my unathletic ass could ditch sports altogether and take dance classes to satisfy the requirements.
