All this fight proved was sandhagen has a complete game. You are not as good striking well he can strike. You can strike but your grappling sucks? Well he has good grappling. It proved Cory is high level in both striking and grappling. And he used his fight iq and experience to win that fight. Font showed his grappling is below average and anyone with above average grappling in the ufc should be able to beat him. Who needs to strike with Rob when you can take him down? Wake up call for Rob.

I did. I thought TJ lost clearly and on top of that he is a cheating CnNt. And TJ got a title shot off of that despite being a boring fighter his whole career. Only exciting when getting KTFO or juiced to the gills cheating.

I’d rather watch a more striking fight in general because that’s what o prefer, but I respect and appreciate grappling and love seeing subs. This isn’t kickboxing or boxing. It’s mma. Guys like Islam, colby and gsp are/were some of the biggest names in mma. Their specialty and quite frankly normal games were grappling and wrestling. So when an exciting striker puts on a grappling clinic for 5 rounds why is he going to get shit on? He is showing a different dimension to his game. And he is close to a ts.

I agree (Not about Colby). GSP, Islam are so far and away ahead of their peers it seems. Colby had an incredibly boring style and an easy path for running his mouth. Who did he ever actually beat? Anyone he fought that was at their peak beat him (Usman). He has one skill spamming TDs. I would not be surprised if he has been on all kinds of EPO or similar PEDs. If he fought hard and developed his skills aside from wrestling He wouldn't have to MAGA his was along in life. He isn't even a draw of any kind that I can see.

GSP was criticized for not finishing guys like they were regional scrubs but he was literally fighting guys at the peak of their career one after the next and beating them in a variety of ways. Not his fault he could nullify opponents. Sandhagen nullified Font seemingly so effortlessly but Font was so good defensively.
