Best U2 song

Their only song (that I know) that has a heavy metal vibe.

I remember being a kid and loving this song, along with Batman Forever. I was so excited that I had found this kick ass rock band to get into. I quickly found out that none of their other songs even come close to sounding like that. Imagine my disappointment. They’re still an ok band though

"Sunday Bloody Sunday".

What a great song.
It really encapsulates the frustration of a Sunday, doesn't it?
You wake up in the morning, you've got to read all the Sunday papers, the kids are running round, you've got to mow the lawn, wash the car, and you think "Sunday, bloody Sunday!".

I'd go with Sunday Bloody Sunday or The Unforgettable Fire.

For me probably with or without you, or Sunday bloody Sunday.

I Will Follow
Bad
Bullet the Blue Sky
Lemon
Please (live at MTV awards)
Electrical Storm (William Orbit Mix)

I listened to a bunch of iTunes samples and will need to dig out the CD for Magnificent.

I really like the guitar work in this song.

With or without you

I remember where I was the first time I heard that song.

I was in a pub watching the video on the big screen. Peel Pub on St. Catherine here in Montreal to be exact. I know this is a painfully boring fact, but it's one of only two songs I can definitively remember the first time I heard it.

The other was Vox by Sarah McLachlan. I was at a party and it playing on Much Music on a tv in a side room.

No, I have no idea why I'm telling you all this.

Ssshhhh, ,Sarah's singing.
