The Rocky saga produced some really great "villains" and some not as good. Which was the best one?

Clubber Lang for sure. Dragon wasn't bad, he was just Russian. Clubberblang was an asshole and he knocked over the old guy.

Fuck I wish I could change my vote to tommy gun...he was a backstabbing prick.

You can change your vote. I voted Tommy Gunn as well for the same reason. He was the worst Rocky villain because he used Rocky and completely stabbed him in the back for no good reason. lol

the russian ..cause we all know American athletes wouldnt use high tech technology and roids...

So conflicted. Drago is clearly a beast, but Clubber basically said he'd fuck Rocky's wife in her ass. At 1:48.

His son. In part 5 and in Balboa. Not only that, he couldn't handle being a Balboa in the Philly and moves to B.C. in Creed. Ungrateful little twat.

At least he didn't lay his dad out in a street fight.

Drago is p4p for me...

Unlike pretty much all the others, he was a big-time antagonist but didn't have to be a loud mouth or arrogant dude to do it. His bout with Rocky is also the most vicious of any of the Rocky vs. antagonist bouts in all the movies.

His post-fight interview after he killed Creed was quite memorable as well.

I think Rocky wouldn't have minded that, he basically wanted no part of his father, especially his father was a lonely man with nothing besides a 2.5 stared Yelped reviewed restaurant.

Drago is my #2.

No way that place got a 2.5 rating. That was a quality Italian eatery. Everyone loves Italian food.

The sad thing is that Robert gets put in his place for his finger-pointing and excuse-making in arguably the best scene in Rocky Balboa and then changes his tune and becomes closer with his father as a result. Creed is an awesome movie but it's pretty disappointing to think that Robert bailed to Vancouver with his girlfriend, living it up and having little to do with his dad.

Seems totally believable considering the personality they gave Robert's character. How long would you really expect "home team" to last?

Tommy Gunn is an absolute asshole. It depends on what we are looking at in terms of "best villain." If we are talking about the one who was the biggest piece of shit then Gunn takes the cake. If we are talking about which villain we overall thought was the most effective, best executed, most interesting, etc, then I feel Gunn definitely loses out.

Ivan Drago although Clubber Lang comes a close second.

Ivan Drago had the frame and look that was perfect for a villain

My point exactly and where is he by the end of the movie when an important thing happens to Rock?
