best pre-workout energy booster

Nothing taken personally

Of course any name brand is over half of cost to cover marketing etc

One post mentioned BSN (now sponser UFC Since Xyience lost its exclusive) No Xplode so I gave alternitives.

Nice sparring though- intelligent answers back not just smoke.....................

save your money and drink a shot of espresso or coffe before you workout.

Don't you think that maybe, sometime in the past 20 months, the thread starter might have found what he was looking for?

:icon_lol:Actually, in Gavin's defense, this was originally bumped by someone spamming some crap and it was apparently deleted. I reported it & I'm sure others did too

ok, well just for shits and giggles, I take 2 hydroxycut (one dose which is 200mg caffeine), a b-complex, 2g of piracetam, 6g of lecithin, and 41,000% of my daily b6 half an hour pre workout. Gets me to where I need to go. I may add 20-25mg ephedrine someday soon.

I figured it was something like that, I was just pullin' his chain.

How well is lecithin absorbed on an empty stomach, assuming your pre-workout supplements are taken on an empty stomach?

Any idea how choline citrate compares to lecithin as a choline source? I am under the impression that alpha GPC is a more bioavailable source than both, although more expensive.

Do you find that taking 41, 000% of your daily B-6 gives you a much larger boost than taking 5,000% or 10, 000% (the amount commonly found in a b-complex)?

A) Not sure what you're asking... does it upset my stomach? no. Do I know how well it's absorbed on an empty stomach as compared to with a meal? nope. no clue. About an hour pre workout I usually have a protein shake and maybe a smoothie if I haven't eaten recently, then about half after that I take my preworkout supps.

B) No clue. My research always showed eating more lecithin yielded a better cost:effect ratio than getting choline from other sources. Bioavailability may be greater, there may be better penetration of the blood brain barrier with other supps, but lecithin is dirt cheap, so you're better off just eating more than buying a FAR more expensive supp.

c) I take that much b6 ONLY because I have been using a product called "zipfizz" that contains that much vitamin B instead of one of my hydroxycut pills. I got it at costco from a sample stand, I saw the nutrition label and asked the guy selling it if I really need 41 THOUSAND percent of my daily vitamin b6. he told me it was the same amount there is in a vitamin b shot, but "ours is water soluble." so I bought a thirty pack. I don't know if its solubility offers any advantage (or if there's any truth to it) but it tastes pretty good, and packed a bit of a punch, so I made it part of my regimen. as of today, I am out of zipfizz and need to go to costco to restock.

Sorry if the first question was a bit ambiguous.

I was attempting to ask if you knew how well lecithin was absorbed on an empty stomach rather than with a meal, which you addressed.

Thank-you for the in depth response.

Zipfizz is pretty nuts. Makes me much more energetic and social compared to when I take a regular B-complex. I'm guessing they lace it with some other stuff (??)

I find the B complex that I have, while not really getting me in the mood, does make perceived effort a lot less and subsequently fatique seems to take longer to set in at a higher workload level/pace.

No Explode is rough for some people, also Black powder, Nano Vapor is high in Niacin and can make you very flushed. All are similar.

However I hope Xyience gets it together the NOXCG 3 was the best for MMA because it gave the energy and recovery without tearing up your stomach. It is avaiable at some GNC's as of now

Other wise NanoX9 pills from Muscletech (GNC)

Very late question, but what do you mean tear up your stomach?

Does Buzz saw do this?
