Best Kickboxers of all time

Kaman and Dekkers
Hoost and Lebanner and Aerts
Rodtang and Superlek and Buakaw

I gotta check out a lot of these guys fights.. I only know of the legends in the name.. aka ima casual

Hoost was defeated by Sapp twice, although I feel the stoppage in their second fight was terrible.

And the first fight was stopped because of a cut not a KO.
Really,? I'll have to rewatch. Sapp have him huge problems either way.

In the second fight, Hoost was on his way to KOing Sapp before the horrific stoppage. Horrible reffing.

The most common answers to this question are (from my experience):
Giorgio Petrosyan
Buakaw Banchamek
Sitthichai Sitsongpeenong
Ernesto Hoost
Peter Aerts
Semmy Schilt

Some honorable mentions that are in the conversation as well as fighters who had extremely high skill peaks that match or arguably eclipse the aforementioned fighters:
Andy Souwer
Masato Kobayashi
Tenshin Nasukawa
Chingiz Allazov
Rico Verhoeven
Petchpanomrung Kiatmookao
Remy Bonjasky
Superbon
Schilt was good because he's around 3m. 185 Schilt would be average at best

yeah Sap was like Brock Lesnar in his first few fights. Then he took some damage and didn´t wanna fight anymore and went from Hero to Zero. If Hoost is not legit no single kickboxer in the universe was ever legit. He beat them all. Kickboxers compete elite vs elite all the time. It isn´t boxing where they are scared to lose their 0 and their record. In kickboxing the top guys fight against each other each year. They all got losses. Sapp was +300 pounds of steroids and won a few fights based of that. Very soon after his good start he became scared and lost to everyone. The Sapp others beat isn´t the same version who he was when he came on the scene.

I mean even having to explain that is horendous. Like do you even watch kickboxing or read wikipedia. Look at their records and progression.

Yes a cut not a KO.

Nowhere near the best ... But damn. Reem fights during his run were sure fun to watch.

I still can't believe hoost lost to sapp

for me, my top fighters of all time would be:
Semmy Schilt
Tyrone Spong (he was a menace any weight class, but nearly unbeatable in the lower weightclasses untill he moved up to HW)
Peter Aerts
Georgio Petrosyan
Rob Kaman

I'm a fan of Mike Zambidis, but he didn't have much for Buakaw when they fought.

Really deserved to be named here:

Cedric Doumbe, arguably the GOAT 170lbs
Youssef Boughanem
Anissa Meksen, GOAT female kickboxer

Schilt was good because he's around 3m. 185 Schilt would be average at best
There isnt exactly a large precedent for 7 footers doing good at combat sports. Maybe he was good at kickboxing because he knows how to kickbox.
