I thought Demian Maia's recent clinics of Gunnar Nelson, and Neil Magney both very good MMA BJJ guys was impressive. Esp over Gunnar who was considered a BJJ phenom before his MMA Debut. Charles Olivera has showed some very nice BJJ Talent in the Cage. There's a Gif of Yoel Romero ankle pick flipping some dude. Also Yoel's knee tap on Machida to side mount was sweet.

I know its probably too many to list. Just whatever sticks out from a judo/wrestling/BJJ standpoint in MMA

Maia over Gunnar was truly amazing. That control was incredible, Demian made it look as if he had Gi handles to grab onto during that fight.

Honorable mention always has to go to Sakuraba v Carlos Newton....

agree gunnar even tried to grit it out and take a few shots to reverse his terrible position and still couldn't get maia off his back.

This is bothering me, there's like 3 fights I can think of but I don't know the names

I know it is common for people to say this because of the level of activity and excitement in that match, but it pales in comparison to the level of grappling displayed in something like Nelson/Maia.

Literally any welterweight Demian Maia fight is a grappling clinic. I forget which one, but one of the Cain - JDS fights where Cain repeatedly takes him down and rides him mercilessly while GnP rains down for 5 rounds is another, a great example of wrestling controls used to inflict damage. Most Cormier fights in Strikeforce also features beautiful TDs and killer GnP.

Shogun vs Randleman 2 wasn't bad I thought the Monsta's leg was going to break R.I.P

Condit had a fight in WEC against this Japanese Judo guy which was nice Dude flipped Condit on his head atleast four good times all uchi mata's if memory serves.

Throwing it out there because no one else will likely bring it up, but Alan Goes has some of the most under rated guard work in MMA, specifically distance open guard.

Hence honorable mention.

lots of good ones mentioned above.

Just to mention one of my favorite old school fights that really captured the essence of BJJ was Frank Shamrock v. Tito Ortiz for the UFC title.

Maia's recent fights. His takedowns have gotten much better and he shreds through guards like tissue paper.

Agree with his guard passing. passing the guard has of late been so frustratingtingly difficult for me personally. that's why if you're a good guard passer you've got half the battle won.

Maia vs Fitch

Nog vs Couture

Jacare vs Mayhem

There's a few more I can't remember right now.
