Best Female Action Star?

I love females and actresses. But most are cringe in action movies. The best to me are the ones that use their talents to their advantage and do not rely on strength which a woman would not have in most cases. Sigourney Weaver, Michelle Yeoh, Milla J and Linda Hamilton did the best with being tough but still a woman.

Se just did Union which is straight action, and she was good. She did Cat woman, and was Storm in X-men.

Reading this thread makes me realize there are some bad ass female action characters that weren't forced down our throats.

I will throw out someone who hasn't done many action movies but was pretty good in the ones she has so far.

Emily Blunt: Sicario, Edge of Tomorrow, A Quiet Place

But the "best", I would say is Cynthia Rothrock or Michelle Yeoh for their consistency.

Sigourney Weaver without a doubt paved the way for future female action stars.

I'm glad Michelle Yeoh is getting recognition. She's been in the industry for a very long time with a multitude of movies

Charlize Theron should be higher on the list over Jolie and Uma.

Uma, Jolie, Milla Jovovich and Kate beckinsale are kind of all attached to a certain action movie. Kill bill, tomb raider, resident evil and underworld. Same deal with Weaver and Aliens

Scarlett Johansson is overrated as fuk. Sorry boyos

Just watched the new Alien Romulus movie which got me thinking of the subject.

While Sigourney and Linda Hamilton both put up absolute A-level action performances, their collective bodies of work don't scream action star. So who takes the top spot?

Milla Jovovich comes to mind. Charlize Theron's been putting in work as well. Cynthia Rothrock? Uma Thurman?

I'd make a list of candidates but I don't know how to make a poll.

Honestly though, Id go with Weaver based on Alien and Aliens. Even Alien 3 was good imo, just gets a bad rep cause the first two were so epic.

I was so glad her knockout meant her remake of Foad House was dead. She never really got good at the acting part.
