My favorite pure muscle car would be a late 60s Nova. Just love the look. If I could have any vintage car period, it'd probably be a 63-67 Stingray.

As for modern, probably the Chevy SS.

It's ugly but it ticks all the right boxes. The Challenger and Charger look better but they're shit cars. The Camaro and Mustang are too small to be considered muscle cars. The Australians have been building better muscle cars for a while though that SS was probably the last generation.

But from a purist standpoint, the only true muscle cars today in spirit are the Challenger and AMG's coupes.

Wow that is beautiful. Just a prime Detroit work of art. The late 60's/early 70's big block anythings all seem to still fetch ridiculous prices.

All the current modern cars are going to feel extremely slow once we get used to EV's. There is just no way even the biggest engines can match the instant torque of an electric motor rocketing cars under 2 seconds to 60.

Exhaust sound will be the only thing they can't replicate. So when we're old and working on our 2018 cars in the year 2050, the entire neighborhood will look at us with contempt and disgust. We're gonna be the equivalent of the straight piped Harley fatasses making a racket everywhere.
