100k car what r u buying

100k? I'm buying my dream camping set up. An early model Toyota Sequoia with the bullet proof 4.7L V8.

I'd fully restore that bad boy, and fit it out for over land camping. I used to own one, but sold it. I've missed it ever since.

Anyone that gets $100k and their immediate thought is to buy a car doesn’t deserve the money nor the car.
I’m not liquidating all my net worth for a car. I just want a cool car but not sure what to get and asked a hypothetical. I would spend more or less.

I kind of want a classic muscle car but I don’t really want to deal with carbs, no OD, old brakes and no creature comforts. Not seeing any nice resto mods though so would likely have to build one myself.

I bought my hellcat to avoid that but it just didn’t hit the spot. Not seeing anything of interest locally. I would like a back seat if possible

100k ain't what is used to be....like 5 years ago.....

I'm over the new vehicle stuff. Probably good used for me from here on out. Next buy will either be another Jeep Wrangler or an older 4Runner.

The newer NSX is something I've been curious about. I also like the LC500. They seem like low maintenance superish cars that are fun to drive without the stress of owning an Italian or German super car.

My fun car is a gt3rs. For around 100k you may be able to find a used 911gts or Carrera 4s.

+1 for the LC500. Very underrated. Lexus doesnt have the same badge desirability as merc, porsche and BMW but it brings something different to the table than those 3 in its reliability. Ive only heard good reviews apart from the older models track pad control which they got rid of in the newer ones. By all metrics its a great driving, great sounding, comfortable cruiser with a reliable v8 which is all I want these days. Already told the wife to expect it in the driveway for my 40th <lol>

What would you recommend as far as a cheap, used sled? I just moved out of the city and would like to pick up a couple of cheaper sleds for having fun in the winter.
Depends what kind of riding you’re doing or what you want. If you’re looking for a reliable trail machine, a Yamaha apex / viper is a really solid machine that can be had for not a ton of money. If you want to go fast, you can find the older Arctic cat 1100 turbos for 3-4k too.

If you want to go off trail or a true 50/50 though, none of those will really work that great. The older Arctic cat pro cross 2 strokes can be had for cheap and are prettty reliable.

Is $100K my max budget?

Lexus LS500 or a Genesis G90.

While a Mercedes would be flashier, I appreciate reliability and repairability. I have a 2019 G90 and love it.

If I was being silly, an Ioniq 5 N - I'm strongly considering this as my next car (but don't want to spend $80K on a Hyundai)

Mostly just local trails and around the neighborhood. I live in an enclave with no through traffic, and apparently everyone rides them around the neighborhood in the winter, and the OFSC trails are all over the place in the area. Always had dirt bikes and motorcycles, but very limited experience with snowmobiles. Appreciate the info, thank you.

I spent 100k for this with self driving supervised included. Use it for my business to haul stuff, over abundance of solar, it fit the bill. Sure, it’s fast, but the self driving is an absolute cherry on top, I didn’t know how much I hated driving until I fully embraced self driving , truly amazing technology. Only a matter of time before i can sleep and arrive at destination, it’s already safer than most humans.
I'm not sure about other cities, but these are all over Vegas now. No driver seat or steering wheel as everyone faces inward like a ski gondola. I'm always impressed with how well they handle the road construction that is everywhere here.

These things give a great tour of the strip and they used to do it for free.

A used big body 4 door Lexus, 03 Mustang Cobra, and whatever truck I can afford with the leftover money. Or skip the truck and put the money into both cars.
