Bernies bio son won't call him "dad"?

I think this thread is really a sign that election season just lasts too damn long.

It's weird when a child don't call their parents mom and dad. Not an attack, just a fact. Again, this was Bernie's son telling the world his relationship with his father. No one is making a scene, there's no Dadgate going on, no one will stop supporting Bernie over this and this is not why Bernie is losing! It's just an information about a soon to be irrelevant politician.

I don't see what the big deal is. My brother's daughter was calling him by his first time for awhile and he corrected it to dad only because he didn't want a stranger to think this wasn't his kid.

If Bern's kid sees him as a very good friend, that is better than most parents. Most people have very weak relationships with their parents as adults.
