Ruffy is fighting for a ranking
Nicolas Ott, head coach of Imavov and St Denis, is facing the Fighting Nerds twice in the same night
French and Brazilian fighters are facing each other four times on the same card:
- Imavov vs Bo Ralyo
- BSD vs Ruffy
- Ziam vs Kaue Fernandes
- Oumar Sy vs Brendson Ribeiro

Not a surprise. The UFC had already decided that BSD was to be a stepping stone for younger, dynamic guys when they matched him up with Alvarez. This is just a different killer they pitted him against in the same role.

Benoit smushes Ruffy to a victory, Dana wines, Benoit goes into next fight swangin' & bangin', gets finished, Dana relegates him back to gatekeeper.

Alvarez is 3 years older than BSD, and Ruffy is the same age. There's also a decent chance BSD runs over Ruffy as Ruffy has never really faced a sticky grappler like BSD before.

Maaaan...you're right. Alvarez seems more like a younger prospect but nope.

And yes there's a chance BSD gets his grappling going. He'd better, because he's getting smoked if he stands too long.

That's a fun fight.

The winner of this fight is likely to be in a great position for a titleshot within a few fights, given the age of the other top LWs.

If Ruffy can pass this grappling test, he will be a problem for anyone.
