Yeah that will definitely improve your chances of getting into the UFC...

Hopefully he and Uncle Dana can put their johnsons back in their drawers and find some middle ground, so we can get this kid in the UFC.
 
Askren won't be champion in the UFC , probably. He won't make ppv dollars - so he can probably make about the same money fighting softer opposition outside the UFC. He doesn't need the UFC and the UFC doesn't need him.

He's not getting in the UFC any time soon.

If he shuts up for a year or two and fights well (as he has been) then they'd probably consider it.

He'd probably have to fight some ranked WWs first, though. Maybe go to WSOF for a few fights. And that's after his 2 year One FC contract runs out...
 
When the day that this guy and Dana don't talk about each other happens, I'll take it as a sign of the apocalypse.

This guy's signed for a couple years, more than likely. Why continue to do this? Finish out your contract, keep getting finishes, keep stating your case with your fights, and shut up till you're a free agent. Once you're signed, continue to sell yourself, fight 2 or 3 times, then get a title shot. Simple.
 
He can bitch and complain all he wants; the fact is 99% of people don't care to watch him fight.

They should start making Dana Dolls. Those look like fun. You can punch them and bash them and they say "do you wanna be a ******* fighter?" Kind of like a stress relief thing, just come home from a hard days work and beat up your Dana Doll for five minutes.

Does One think he is burying them by saying they don't have anyone that can build his legacy and that he really doesn't even want to be there? I get that the UFC fucked him over but you think they have to get a spine at some point. Though it won't help if they can't get him a top 100 opponent. At least pretend to be proud to be their champion.

What's he really worth, though? Because he's done nothing to earn 6-figures a fight. Not a single top-10 win. Not one.

Undefeated records are great, but they're a lot better when you've fought the best in the world. Chris Weidman, for example.

BUT....BUT...He's finishing dudes who if they were UFC welterweights would be around the same level as Tim Means, Neil Magny, Igor Araujo and Kiichi Kunimoto!

Have you Worldwide MMA kiddies not learned your lesson from Hector Lombard the all-conquering Bellator MW champ who would easily murder Anderson and any other top-level UFC MW?
 
I'm curious where all this sense of entitlement comes from on Sherdog as far as Askren is concerned.
