belt knots

whats he talking about in the end? that he ties his belt like that because it doesnt come loose, because if it comes loose people can choke him with it? ....????lol

i usually tie my belt the fortune cookie way, but i'm gonna try this out from now on and see how well it does cause the way i do it gets undone even after warmups
 
most hideous, sucky knot possible. It was vertical, with one end going straight up, and the other pointing straight down.

A higher belt once told me that that configuration used to signify a fallen warrior, like they would tie his belt that way or something. BS or not? :shrugs shoulders:
 
I TAE KWON TIE MINE

serious i tie iit the way i was taught in taekwondo as a kid... it doesnt cross in the back and its a square knot in the front and i usually dont have to retie it often maybe every 10 minutes i tighten it with a tug thats it
 
I tried it today, and you know what. I first have kids classes (I run it) and then later adult class, and my belt was like its not gonna never untie.
From now I will always tie my belt like that. Great firts post :D
