Carvalho the champ didnt do a thing besides get warned for illegal techniques FIVE times without a point. He made no attempt to fight it was as if he was trying to get fired.

The judges scored the win for him as a split decision. I will never complain about ufc judging again.

Melvin won that shit any kind of way you judge that fight , it was just brutal. It looked like Melvin went right to the judges or commission right after the announcement. Even the bellator commentators couldn't save them

I think Hanlon's Razor comes into effect here. Not saying that a rigged decision is not a distinct possiblity, but I'd first believe that those were some awful judges and Big John wanted badly to avoid deciding the fight on a deduction. Doesn't make it any better.

The judging has nothing to do with what company it is in only the commission overseeing the event. If there was a point deduction then it would have been a draw and Carvalho still keeps the belt. A rematch should be in order but even then Manhoef was cheated out of his rightful win.

Yeah Big John was seemingly more concerned about looking like a strict referee than about actual refereeing.
