I wonder if Bellator knew the end was coming last year, and Coker threw two cards and cross promotions together with RIZIN in 7 months to try and help them get more exposure in the States before the fall? They're very reverent to JMMA on these broadcasts.

Maybe they’re thinking merger in the long term. This is a good way for bellator to get Asian market exposure and good for rizin to get American exposure. And if it ever gets to a point of merger (or rizin buying out bellator), they’ll already have experience working with each other and some of the American fighters will already have built in fan bases.

it’s a smart move. One FC seems to be doing great. Smart for Coker to collab with rizin.
