it looks like it’s happening boys, sound the funeral trumpets
Some female boxer signing with PFLSo what was the announcement?
Worst possible outcome, hopefully we see an exodus of top guys to the UFC. I would semi-retire from Sherdog, tbh. I have no interest in posting in the UFC forum and not excited about PFL absorbing Bellator.Al's trustworthy.
It's over boys.

Mods, please give this guy a pink belt.
This is a legit source. I guess PFL buying bellator is a done deal. Unfortunately most of their rosters will fail the usada tests.
Once PFL implodes (which it will) there wont be anymore promotions trying to compete with the UFC. We'll Just have Combate Global and UFC trying to play catch up.
Exact quote about Sabatello:
“He’s a young kid with tremendous talent,” Coker said at the Bellator MMA x Rizin 2 post-fight press conference. “We have a lot of high hopes for his future fighting in Bellator. He had a very tough opponent with Magomed Magomedov, but the loss doesn’t make me feel like he’s going to be any less of a fighter. He’s a young kid. We’re going to continue to help build his career, and hopefully he’ll come back very shortly.”
I think that would be great. I just worry about PFL because it always seemed like such a bizarre league that never made sense financially.I would say that is more likely.
PFL understands certain fighters are just above doing a tournament over and over. I would say it’s almost a guarantee we'll see regular events by PFL, tournaments by PFL, and PPV's by PFL. You'll have too many fighters to just keep the format. Plus you need to create more content to get more money out of your media deal now days. We bitch about the amount of UFC events and how they get thinned out on paper but the truth is that is the amount of content ESPN is paying for at its the UFC's responsibility to put a product out that ESPN is willing to pay for.

WSOF was one of the only leagues in which the promoter fought in his own event, Ray Sefo. WSOF/PFL had a lot of controversy and conflict of interests especially with Ali Abdelaziz being a match maker, manager, and co promoter all at once! I never really trusted them even after they changed the name to PFL. It seemed like a massive tax write off or something. For years the PFL wouldn’t even sell gloves or merchandise, lots of missed opportunities on money.
Sefo has never had any control of the company … he has always been a face… Ali ran everything fighters related when it was WSOF and the first 2 years of PFL and still has power within the company… Davis is in charge of finding the funding, he is good at it, but he is also always posting stupid crap on social media that doesn’t makes sense .. he runs the show along 3-4 other people like Ted Leonsis who invest in the company alsoPFL seems to be like a house of cards, ready to fall down at any time. I do not know if they got the money from Saudi or from UFC but I can see it being UFC knowing they are not a firm foundation organization giving them money to help them implode. Seems like PFL's Donn Davies is taking more control and leadership from Ray Sefo who is wrong for leadership.
