Bellator or UFC tonight?

AXS, formerly HDnet.

Nice. My cousins Muay Thai trainer is fighting in the main event and is probably going to get an unholy amount of brain damage as a result, but hoping for the massive upset.

I'm gonna try to watch both, but I'm definitely picking UFC over Bellator if it comes to that. Just too many of my favorite fighters on that card. I know Bellator prelims start an hour before UFC and that Bellator main event should be done by 10pm EST though, which gives me hope.

Both are good cards but watching UFC live and change the channel back in forth to Bellator cuz I aint got no DVR haha

Bellator is weak shit like it always is. there whole business model is hiring Ufc's trash.

I think it's being perfectly rational when a high majority of the fighters expected to pan out, did. So you play the odds and trust your eyes. Not that Curran or Pitbull have resumes that don't demand some respect and remove the classification of prospect.

I don't get how Jorge Santiago is relevant at all when he fought in Japan and I never bought the hype. Mayhem, I never thought would be a contender, but that he was a good fighter, and he did nothing in UFC to dissuade that belief. He lost to Bisping and then with a blown knee, Dolloway. But he was kicking Dolloway's ass at times in spite of being on one leg, and nearly finished him like twice. Since Dolloway has proven to be a good fighter. That fight if anything suggested that Mayhem was the much better fighter than a good one when factoring in the circumstances. Speaking of rationality, you shouldn't rationally put any stock in a loss for a fighter on a blown acl, case in point Cain the first time against JDS, before almost literally killing him, twice.

you are reading WAY too much into the names, it could have been any # of guys I just picked a few names as examples.

The point is some guys In a #2 org Are just as good or better. Others will not make it in the big show.
Everybody loves to point out the couple of examples that did well while admitting the long lit of fighters that did not.

Maybe curran is as good as UFC top guys but unti he fights them it will be nothing but guesses and opinion.

Yes, Curran and Pitbull would be run of the mill in the same division where Nik Lentz and Dennis Siver are top ten. Both actually got their spots by winning decisions against Nunes, who Pitbull starched.

But, Curran and Pitbull are in another org so they must suck. Kind of like Gegard and Jacare before they came over, right?

1) MMAth

2) Strawman

I will watch the main cards of both, due to the different start times.

I will be watching both, Curran/Pitbull is my favorite fight on either card.

Bellator's a decent card but if I had to choose live, UFN 50.

I won't be seeing either live though, will watch both tomorrow.

I'll record Bellator and watch UFC live.

It's fucking stupid how Canada isn't getting the fight night. Guess I'll have to pray I can find a HD stream. #firstworldproblems
