Bellator or UFC tonight?

both.

I'll be watching UFC prelims on Tv and Bellator on the computer paying attention to whichever is the better fight then focus on Pitbull/Curran when thats on then when its over focus on UFC main card.

I'll go back and watch some of the prelims I miss after the event.

No, because SF was proven to be a legit org when they had some of the top guys like Fedor, Barnett, etc on their roster. They went on to further show they had top guys when they came over to the UFC and dominated.

Bellator fights have yet to have the same success in the UFC. Alvarez will be a good test, but for his first fight he gets Cerrone instead of a title fight.

I'd say Lombard, who beat the former SF MW champ, has done pretty well for himself.

I think it's being perfectly rational when a high majority of the fighters expected to pan out, did. So you play the odds and trust your eyes. Not that Curran or Pitbull have resumes that don't demand some respect and remove the classification of prospect.

I don't get how Jorge Santiago is relevant at all when he fought in Japan and I never bought the hype. Mayhem, I never thought would be a contender, but that he was a good fighter, and he did nothing in UFC to dissuade that belief. He lost to Bisping and then with a blown knee, Dolloway. But he was kicking Dolloway's ass at times in spite of being on one leg, and nearly finished him like twice. Since Dolloway has proven to be a good fighter. That fight if anything suggested that Mayhem was the much better fighter than a good one when factoring in the circumstances. Speaking of rationality, you shouldn't rationally put any stock in a loss for a fighter on a blown acl, case in point Cain the first time against JDS, before almost literally killing him, twice.

So, what you're saying is Cain can take another precise shot like that from JDS so long as his leg's fine???

Please elaborate!

Lombard came over and annihilated two former Strikeforce champions along with a future WSOF champion.

Beat me to it.

100% agree.

I will say that I do agree that the UFC has the better fighters, but Bellator has had some great fighters and still has some exciting prospects. Michael Page is a future champ in a big org somewhere.

Mr. Coker...is that...you???

Wow, what a great comeback. How can I possibly compete intellectually with a mind that comes up with such amazing ideas as the one above and "Bellasnore"?

You mean on the Bellaforce card, right? Mousasi/Jacare is easily the best fight of the night (on paper anyway).

Fuck no. Mooses fight has been pretty boring lately. Curran-Pitbull looks spicy. but yeah, UFC cards are better than the rest of the Bellator cards.

Both cards are pretty good especially compared to the last UFC PPV. The plan is watch UFC live and record Bellator for after or the nexr day.

UFC! Great main event.

Although I'm looking forward to Kongo vs Lavar

No one is disputing the fact that the UFC has the deeper roster, and I actually agreed with the guy who said the UFC middleweight division is better than the Bellator featherweight division, but he insisted on putting in an inane joke in there with it.

Bellator is in the same spot the WEC and Strikeforce were, where they have a handful of guys in each weightclass (at least the lower ones anyway) that would be big factors in the UFC.

You can't...that's why you appear to be biding your time, contemplating a sweet comeback :icon_chee

How so? Grappling all over Munoz and subbing him in the first round is boring?

The bellator main card will probably end around the Time the ufc main card starts so I'll watch both

Bellator card looks like a lot of potential lay and pray. That ME looks quite saucey though.

I want to agree because I'd like to see him contend for the title, but really he's only 3-2 in the UFC and had to cut to WW to find success. Meanwhile he was top of the heap in the Bellator MW division.

Well... I'll be at Bellator so.... Bellator. And if I had a smart phone I'd be streaming the UFC fights on that at the same time. ..... Legally, of course.

Why not both? Ufc on my tv, bellator on my computer.

True, but a lot of guys have cut when they've come to the UFC. Lombard arguably won his debut, and he was sick with the flu at the time. That says a lot about him.

Regardless, I think Bellator guys do have skill and there's some top guys there, but as a whole they're not the best.

I plan to watch the first three of the Bellator card and the last three of the Ufc card
