There seems to be no more Bellator content on the B/R Sports page and Google links no longer lead to pages on Bellator content. Also, we never got the Bellator library that we were promised by a certain PFL spokesperson. The Road to Dubai thing doesn't seem to be getting advertised for Max either.

May have something to do with underwhelming event performance and Max wasn't willing to pay for more events and this resulted in the final three events of 2024 being canceled. Just speculation on my part though. I do believe the deal was only for 2024.

Nobody likes 1-Hour Cutdowns of a miniscule fraction of the Bellator library or completely changing Bellator presentation to PFL cage/uniforms. Who would have thought?

Yeah, those 1-Hour Cutdowns were worthless, there's no way to rewatch any of the 2024 stuff unless they put it on Youtube. I guess the only way to watch the next event is DAZN or something.

In the US, it's literally gonna be in accessible from the looks of it. Classic PFL

Yeah it feels like everything they said about preserving Bellator was BS they are going to phase it out and run the PFL into the ground.
I've heard some really bad stuff going on behind the scenes at PFL. Making fighters take 30% cuts or threatening to sit them out for years, etc

I believe the media deal for Bellator media deal is up. Part of this is why they kept the Bellator name around for 2024 was fulfill and collect on those deals around the world.

PFL's deal with ESPN is also over. So right now PFL is shopping its content around for a US media deal. Probably hoping one of the streaming services will over pay. They also need to get a long term deal. These one year deals are shit.

The Professional Fighters League (PFL) renewed its media rights agreement with ESPN in November 2023for multiple years:

  • Regular season, playoffs, and world championships: These will continue to air on ESPN and ESPN+ in the United States.

  • PFL PPV Super Fight Division: This new division will launch in 2024 and air on ESPN+ PPV. The division will feature some of the world's top combat sports stars, including Jake Paul and Francis Ngannou.

  • Pre- and post-fight coverage: Top fighters will be highlighted across ESPN platforms, including linear and digital channels.

They should make a deal with youtube. Youtube is leading the streaming wars over netflix/disney+hulu currently.
