bellator 124 ratings 771,000 viewers

Would think these numbers were slightly better than expected.

Better than TUF.

Reruns of Matlock get better ratings than TUF.

That's very good considering it was headlined by Joey Beltran.

Guess going head to head with the UFC was a dumb idea. That card last week alone would have probably done in the 800-900k range.

I break down all the cards before hand and do viewership predictions based on past ratings history of the fighters involved and this one looked to do around 550K based on the lineup so ya, it was much better than it should've been.

Considering how bad the ratings were the first show of the season to follow up with a pretty lackluster card and do these kind of ratings? Very nice for them.

Justin McCully left them wanting more.

The main card was pretty weak so I'm not surprised that the numbers were low.

I just watched because the undercard was full of guys from my hometown.

For Bellators they are high numbers, 100k above their average.

You're right. My bad. For some reason I thought Bellator pulled in 867,000 viewers for Bellator 123 but they only pulled 667,000. Thanks for correcting me.

I think you're looking at the ratings when DVR usage is factored in. That show would've had higher than usual DVR because of going up against the UFC show.

Business as usual for Bellator.

Nothing to take away from the ratings one way or the other. It's just what Bellator has been doing all along on Spike. Little bump one week down the next and it all avgs. out similar from season to season.

I thought the promo and fight was THE best they've ever had IMO. Better than anything on the ppv as well. That's ashame.
