Bellator 106 Does 1.1 Mill Average, 1.4 Mill Peak

It was quite a success free, but how many of those 1.1 million would have paid for it? I wouldn't have, since I was only looking forward to Chandler-Alvarez 2 and I feel my opinion is shared with many of those 1.1 million.

Bellator made one of the best cards it could make and was successful when free. That's all we know.

Also, most of the fights were boring, so that probably does help Bellator.

Haters gonna hate, bro?

I enjoyed most of the show, even the other two title fights that people found boring were interesting to me. Suppose it depends on what you want from a show. Now I'd like to see a new bunch of stars like MVP doing their shit on Bellator and creating interest in the shows as well as signing former UFC guys.

great numbers. this could be the exposure they needed.

I don't know why Bellator/Spike never schedule enough time for the fights. There were some great fights on the card and the Alvarez/Chandler fight was incredible. If they had cut out one of the fights and gotten Alvarez/Chandler in earlier, they probably would have had even better ratings.

Problem with the card is they sacrificed a season of good fights for one supercard.

I don't care, though. I thoroughly enjoyed it.

this season is almost over. only 3 cards left en the next season wont start untill early next year so the fighters have plenty of time to heal.

Agreed. Enjoyed all of it.

Good numbers, every MMA fan should see Chandler-Alvarez 2, it was a sick fight.

Should be interesting to see if Bellator can build off its new found publicity.

This Friday's show should tell a lot - if the ratings go up or return to where they were.

Hopefully this sends a message to the UFC that they should've never left basic cable.

Why they've pulled higher ratings then this and consistently pull higher numbers in the key demo. Why would they be concerned that Bellator got these types of ratings by having three title fights.

Wonder how that compares to re-runs of Cops. Seemed like Spike could have put the pre-lims on as well, but needed to show 10 straight episodes of Cops.

Reruns of cops consistently outperform Bellator unfortunately

Little by little they keep growing. Page and Tito got some attention for them, they put on a great card and got their best ratings ever, and 2 out of their next 3 cards are pretty stacked. All this without much advertising or million dollar free agents and during a slow period in overall mma viewership.

FOX cancelled COPS, how dare they.
