He's a good all around fighter with a very good chin and great cardio. He won't be an easy fight for anyone in my opinion, but he probably never gets to a belt. I like him well enough, though.

He is not a good finisher, doesn't really have power in his hands. But he is very durable and seems to have a good chin and also is quite strong. Can't say I have ever seen anything special in him though. more like a mid tier solid fighter

During the Wonderboy fight I was impressed by how many dominant positions he was able to get to but utterly stupified at his lack of power or finishing ability. Its like he’s just missing fast twitch muscle fibers.

he does think he is better than he really is,i also dont like his self promotion.i wouldnt mind seeing him go on a losing streak and then get cut.There are so many more deserving fighters.....oh and they really need to start cutting some women,there are terrible wastes of space that need to go to free up the roster

Who are all these other fighters more deserving than him? Belal is active, promotes himself but doesn’t get too personal or vulgar, takes short notice fights. Exactly what else are you looking for? Just say you don’t like the guy and move on lol. No need to pretend your opinion is based on logic cause it isn’t. You just have a preference for other fighters, for what reason only you truly know.

if you took Gaethje and Belal and removed their names and compared their accomplishments & behavior over the last year, 80% of sherdog would say Belal is more deserving than Gaethje, but as soon as names revealed it’s the opposite lol.
