Media Belal Muhammad: "Colby Covington is a coward"

He beat two Top 5 fighters back to back in pretty dominant fashion. Everyone bitches about the division not moving on and top ranked fighters sitting on their ranking. Yet when a guy puts it on the line against a highly touted, undefeated prospect in the Top 10 its not noteworthy now.
He doesn’t have a top 5 win

Getting money for just cutting weight is better than cutting weight and fighting in my books.
Whats Balal on about...
Is that a serious question lol? He's calling Colby out for being healthy, ready and willing to take Leon/Usman on short notice but ducking a Top 5 fighter like Belal while sitting out for over a year and not beating anyone coming off a win since RDA. Seems pretty clear to me what he's on about.

Plus he'd make double the amount for fighting and beating Belal.

Belal will be humbled soon. He is a worse version of Colby. Beating old Wonderboy and sean brady isn’t something special (Luque is an okay win for sure), his only true challenge enden in no contest with him easily losing the first round. Man was regularly tagged by a Sean Brady in that first round and Sean is a terrible striker. Good for Belal that his cardio is horrendous.

All that being said, Belal is right in this one. I am only biased because I see nothing remotely close to a championship quality in him, what Usman did to Colby, he would do much worse to Belal. That is my honest opinion. But again, he did win those fights and is active and shouls try to move up in rankings so I don’t blame him.

I don't want them to fight. Colby will say mean hateful things against Muslims and Bully B's hairlines.

TBH I think Colby is not interested in anything less than a title fight. Burns is also hinting that Usman might be retiring from the division after this fight. Colby is probably up next for the belt against Leon if that happens.

Belal Muhammad couldn’t carry Colby Covington’s jockstrap.

AI recreation of Colby's response-

Confusion possibly caused by brain damage from an unprovoked attack by a Florida street hooligan who once fought on a Kimbo Slice undercard.

Bro, Belal is just another boring and cringe guy. No man on earth wanted to fight him because he doesn't bring anything to anyone. And to immediatelly counter your argument that people are scared or cowards, everyone called out Chimaev who is tougher challenge even when he was outside of top15.

Regarding Colby, he fights winnable fights and fights that are worth something, money or tittle contender thats true... Currently he is sitting on the tittle shot opportunity and why would anyone (beside TFerg) risk that. People are whining of course, but he knows and UFC just confirmed that he indeed is tittle contender.
Why would he take fights just to please the fans, he has 2,3 more good fights in him
and he is gonna us them the best way he can. After that he is aware that he goes into oblivion, whoever he was and whatever he achieved in life.

But I do understand Belal, he is trying to lure someone meaningful to fight him. But lets not forget that as soon as he steps into top2,3 he is also gonna sit tight and wait for his tittle shot. Everyone did and he will be no exception. Money is double or triple, worth skipping 2,3 fights.

I’m looking at this from a little different angle. If Colby is able to be a backup. He is ready to fight. The UFC need to force him to fight somebody soon. Or drop him in the rankings.

The glass is half full, imo.
