I have this headgear! The color is absolutely beautiful. Unfortunately it is a little small :-( I must have taken the measurements wrong and I am currently selling it on eBay.

I will certainly order a pair of gloves in this color in the future.

I know bill, my bad. I asked my wife to measure my head. She did it twice. Now I double checked on google (I know guys too dumb, too late) and the measurements she took do not correspond to the size of hat I wear. Well...lesson learned!

The headgear is impeccable though.

The patented leather looks sweet on the cuff of the red and blacks. Also interesting Bill did split thumb?! Hmm, I guess he does offer it after all.

Red/black/white you can never go wrong. Those colors look amazing together.

Did not want to do the split thumb design

similar to GRANT, but got so many requests for it, then saw that other (Mexican

manufacturers were doing it) so went ahead with this option. The shiny black or

white leather is only used in thumb, cuff application.

I've know GRANT for a long time and respect him and his quality. I explained to him that although I've been in boxing of sorts for over 50 years, which he knows, my inability financially to follow this passion was limited and I've seen good and bad in boxing during those 50 + years. Me using what he feels is his exclusive innovation is the same bullying that he got form one of the big guys, that he had to either ignore, or stand up to. When I saw several other manufacturers (MEXICAN BRANDS) using the split thumb, I too decided it's all part of the game and as I explained to GRANT, I still feel he makes great stuff and that I would never be a threat to him in my little way of trying to also produce top quality gear. He called our gear GRANT knockoffs. Well people that produce pocket books with the actual manufacturers name on them are selling "Knockoffs" but Beaulieu logoed gear are not GRANT knockoffs...............or am I wrong ?

Let me further say this. I have nothing at all against Grant Philips personally, In fact still consider him a friend and good person . He and I have known one another since the old days of advertising in Ring magazine. He knows my passion for gloves, etc. just like his and knows also, that I'm no threat to him. I respect and envy his desire to also put only quality items out there for all. Price is what the buyer will bare.............

You are absolutely right. How is Grant going to call you a knockoff when plenty of other brands are doing it? Does that mean every Mexican brand is a knockoff? The hell with Grant. And in my personal experience I think you and your company in Pakistan is better than Grant.

They have high prices for no reason, they want to literally steal from the consumer and give shit customer service. You have your "decent" prices. I can say you have competition with Ring to Cage who does Custom gear for as little as $130 as opposed to your $150. I'm not saying they are better, because I have no experience with them, But all I'm saying is your competition is not Grant, Grant is horrible. But your TRUE competition is Ring to Cage and their custom gear.

If I was new and I wanted custom gear on a budget, and I would have to come across You, Bill for $150 or Ring to Cage for $130 which would I pick? These sherdog boards are full of ring to Cage stuff with GREAT reviews, just like you have excellent reviews. Just keep in mind that you now have real competition for $20 cheaper. Though I still stand behind your products, I believe they're quality, I just havent tried ring to Cage

Well just looking at online pics, I would guess that Bills looks top notch like it can compete with Grant materials and build wise. I wouldnt think to say anything of the sort with R2C. I know Bill wouldnt sell stuff that wasnt excellent. Im still trying to sell those Classics and the mitts for just over half price to get those 14ozers!!! I had to repost it unfortunately.
