On a different note....I am really tempted to buy some of Bill's gloves off ebay(The ones that Bill is selling). They have caught my eye since everybody started posting on them.

Those gloves on ebay are like $30 off his normal prices, even more if fancy material.

He should have got 12 or 16 oz if he wanted to make money seriously... The market takes a sharp downturn at 14 and 18oz.

 

He does buy/sell alot of higher weighted gloves. I wonder why that is. Its not like he needs them for sparring or hand protection.....lol.

apparently its because he's a big guy so he needs to use heavier gloves, but that's odd considering they go right on Ebay unused haha.

 

In case of Winning you hardly need even 16 oz., for most (even very big) guys 14 oz. are more than enough, Elvis bought 18 oz. though

I guess it has rather something to do with the ego. It reminds me of guys who buy XXL condoms while XL size or even a standard size is for most of them quite accurate.

 

Well, just got my first set of gloves from Beaulieau and headgear. Used the gloves yesterday in sparring and bag class and they were terrific. Very well padded, best gloves I've ever had for that, and I've used Rivals, Top Kings and Fighting Sports. Anyway, I'm very happy, I'll see how they hold up but I'm very impressed. If I could figure out how to post a pic on my phone, I would. But the gloves are the red and blue ones from the Facebook site.

the gloves on ebay were surplus gloves in stock and only two pair. It's what was available and not to be confused with custom order availability and prices.

They are made by Dan Mosby, sir. They are true works of art! I am lucky enough to have a few pairs of gloves made by Dan. These are the only ones with the Beaulieu label though.
