I red a lot of comics growing up and throughout my life. Yes it's addressed, but the way it's addressed is dumb. In the standard continuity Clarks gripes would have made sense, as he's a boy scout compared to Batman. This version of superman killed a dude in MOS. He also showed no reservations about punching a dude through multiple buildings in a densely populated area in MOS, and made no effort to move the fight to a more secluded area. He also kills a dude in BVS as well.
So yes the movie mentions why he is pissed at batman, but the reasons given make no goddamn sense given the dark and gritty version of superman they've chosen to use. This superman is not a boy scout. Yes they setup why Batman is pissed at superman, and his reasons have a lot more logic to them.
Still doesn't justify why he acts like a retard the entire movie, and is so aggressive towards a guy that could kill him instantly if he chose to, but continually tries to talk to him instead of engage in violence. Yes yes he saw the collateral damage from the fight with Zod, but he failed to notice that since that he has never killed an innocent, and is shown saving people from harm all over the place. It doesn't make sense that he's so convinced Superman is this huge threat given he's been watching his actions for years.
Why would Lois go back for the weapon she threw in the water without anyone telling her they need it for Doomsday? Made zero sense, was done purely to advance the plot. Every single one of my complaints ( except Amy Adams looking haggard lol) has to do with the logic presented in the movie being stupid, not with me failing to understand what was going on.
I grasped what was going on just fine, however it was utterly retarded. These are the same complaints many people have made, these are not unique complaints.
