Good Trailer, still a subpar movie

We'll see if the extended version will make it better (like LOTR:ROTK) or worse (like Daredevil).

Or, it could be a bunch of wasted scenes with no purpose other than to add to the runtime length and sell it as a Director's Cut.

If it's anything other than better, then I'm writing DC off.

I've been giving BvS the benefit of doubt, that the BluRay will be the complete version of the film like the extended edition of LOTR:ROTK was. If it's not, and it's a cash grab, fuck DC.

The ones I'm interested in are the scenes in Africa, Superman's intro into this movie was fucking atrocious that whole scene was just poorly plotted out, you mean to tell me after he appears out of nowhere and overkill murks the guy threatening Lois he couldn't catch up to the Mercenaries on motorcycles ? This trailer showed that there was athe least more to that scene originally, although fucking Killing Jimmy Olsen off still pisses me off

They took 3 Superman storylines and squashed them together. That's my biggest disappointment from this movie.

That's pretty much my main complaint. There were other small things like the feud between Superman and Batman was not setup well at all and made them look stupid. People complained about the Martha part ending the feud but I actually liked how that was done.

the only Point Gibbons has is that Marvel is indeed bold. Bold for putting the junk like the Avengers, and Guardians of the Galaxy out there. GotG is like Scary Movie of comic book movies.

Jeez you have horrendous taste and clearly just hate Marvel. GotG was universally loved, you're just a hater holmes.

all you BVS haters have gotten to use to watching The Walking Dead, and all those premium channel slow burn shows. You want to see people interacting, sharing their feelings of sorrow, and doubt, and talk of existentialism That is why you cant stand fast pace, suspense, spectacular visuals and great soundtrack.

As long as you understand that the opinion that those movies sucked is just YOUR opinion, and is the minority opinion as well

GOTG on rotten tomatoes: 91% with critics, 92% with audiences

Avengers 1: also 91% and 92 %

Avengers 2: 75% and 84%

BVS: 27% and 66%

TDKR is also beloved by most critics and fans.

btw GOTG is the best comic book movies imo, along with Dredd.

i can't decided which is the best comic book movies, so its GOTG and Dredd.

Worlds finest fit the tone for the world Bruce Timm crafted in the early to mid 90s Batman and Superman animated series because of how well established each character was. This included Joker and Luthor being portrayed well by their Voice Actors ( Mark Hamill and Clancy Brown) . I don't think think it would have translated all that well into a love action retelling.

They already did World's Finest in the Superman animated series. Luthor makes deal with Joker. Luthor takes mortal Batman, Joker tries his hand at Supes.

There is a line in there between Lex and Joker where Lex lets Joker know that he cannot handle Supes when he cannot even handle a meer mortal like Batz. Jokes retorts by grabbing Lex's collar pulling him close and says right to his face, "there is nothing meer about that mortal ! ! ! "

And when Lois sees Bruce, she gets all weak in the knees because at first she thought he was "Gotham Trash". And there is that tension between Clark and Bruce over Lois.

I agree on Dredd, but I just never think of it like a comic book movie.

Can you tell me what you like about GotG? The action is horrible. It is a fun movie, but when you have Ronan, Drax, and all them, you want some better fight scenes.

More Warner Bros. Shakeup Rumored Due to BATMAN V SUPERMAN Fallout

The next six months could see more management shakeups at Warner Bros. and DC Entertainment, following a disappointing box office year in 2015 and a performance by Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice that didn't live up to company expectations, according to the New York Post.

Longtime superhero producer Charles Roven recently had to step aside, while fan-favorite comic book writer Geoff Johns stepped up to take more control of DC's movies. This comes on the heels of Johns writing DC Universe: Rebirth, which is aimed at righting the ship on DC's print side.

The Post has no DC-specific details, but says production chief Greg Silverman's job is one of those in danger. That would be little surprise to industry insiders; last year, a string of high-profile disappointments left Silverman vulnerable, and it was actually more of a shock when he renewed his contract than it would have been if he had been shown the door.

Marketing and Distribution head Susan Kroll is also reportedly on the chopping block. While it's difficult to lay the blame for many of Warners' recent failures on marketing, there's likely an argument to be made that when you spend somewhere in the neighborhood of $100 million marketing a movie that stars Batman and Superman, the studio is not going to be happy when huge numbers of people go into the film's release month assuming it's going to tank and whispering about bad buzz.

If that Kroll lady gave the sign-off for the BvS trailer that basically showed the whole god damn film in a 2-minute clip then she definitely deserves to be given the boot.
